McGuire and Hester is a construction company that provides complete site work services: pipelines, grading paving, concrete, landscape and mechanical. In addition to traditional project delivery methods, we are involved with design build projects and alternative delivery methods. McGuire and Hester have played an integral role in the construction of many of Northern California's most recognizable landmarks and infrastructure projects. Job Summary
The Pursuit Coordinator at McGuire and Hester supports the company's marketing and business development effort to secure new opportunities and maintain a strong, consistent brand presence. This role operates within the strategic direction set by the Vice President of Business Development, producing high-quality materials and contributing to client engagement efforts. The Pursuit Coordinator plays an essential role in branding, proposal preparation, and representing the company at networking events to strengthen McGuire and Hester's market position.

Typical Duties
Marketing and Branding Support
- Ensure brand consistency across internal and external communications, including digital and print materials, campaigns, and online platforms.
- Create visually engaging materials such as marketing collateral, advertisements, recruitment materials, social media content, and website updates.
- Develop visual assets, including infographics and templates, to enhance RFPs, proposals, and presentations
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to support marketing strategies.
- Assist with maintaining branding guidelines, ensuring a cohesive and professional brand identity.
Business Development Support
- Assist with building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, industry organizations, and business partners.
- Assist in the preparation of high-value project proposals and presentations that reflect the company's expertise and align with strategic goals.
- Research and document opportunities within new and existing markets to support business development efforts.
- Contribute to the pursuit strategies as defined by the Vice President of Business Development, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives
Networking and Representation
- Represent McGuire and Hester at networking events, conferences, and industry functions to build relationships and enhance brand visibility.
- Actively engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers to foster new business opportunities.
- Provide follow-up and documentation from networking events to inform business development strategies.
Qualifications

Education and Experience: Three to five years' experience. Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required. Strong skills in design, content development, and project coordination. Knowledge of market research, branding, and business development. Experience with proposal development and branding strategies is a plus
Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English
Mathematical Skills: basic business math skills
Planning and Organizing: Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage projects and activates. Ability to create high-quality, visually engaging materials under tight deadlines
Reasoning Ability: Must have strong problem-solving analytical skills, and be able to deal with both standardized and non-standard situations with many variables
Computer Skills: Must be fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, Google, Adobe Create Suite, and social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Individuals in this position with all need to be able to learn how to use technologies as they are implemented
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface and collaborate with a wide variety of people including clients, employees, managers, agencies, and the public

Compensation:
$75,000 - $100,000, based on skills, experience, and knowledge
