Join the South Carolina Stingrays as a Marketing and Creatives Intern for the 2024-25 season, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic sports environment while assisting in marketing campaigns and social media content creation.

The South Carolina Stingrays are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our Marketing and Creatives team for the 2024-25 season. As a Marketing and Creatives Intern, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced sports environment.

Essential Functions:

Assist in the creation and design of marketing materials, including graphics, social media content, and promotional assets.
Help manage the Stingrays' social media platforms including posting and engaging with fans.
Support the marketing team in promoting events such as games and community outreach activities.
Provide administrative support to the marketing team, organizing, tracking campaign performance, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Strong interest in sports marketing, graphic design, or related fields.
Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms.
Ability to work on tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to attend most Stingrays home games (36 home games) and promotional events.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods and carry up to 25 pounds.
Willingness to take direction and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must have a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Must be comfortable to work in fast paced, high pressure environment
Keep a professional demeanor with the ability to interact with fans, staff members, players, coaches, and front office executives.
Able to attend the majority of Stingrays home games.
