The Hospitality Marketing and Sales Coordinator will support marketing and sales efforts to drive revenue and increase brand awareness through strategic campaigns and client relationship management.
Summary
The Hospitality Marketing and Sales Coordinator will assist the marketing and sales team in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns to drive revenue and increase brand awareness. This role is responsible for supporting the coordination of sales initiatives, maintaining client relationships, creating promotional content, and ensuring a seamless alignment of marketing strategies with sales goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude in supporting all sales and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, email, social media, etc.).
- Help coordinate promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
- Monitor and update the website and social media platforms to ensure consistent branding and engagement.
- Analyze marketing data to evaluate the success of campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the creation of newsletters, email marketing campaigns, and other digital communications to potential and existing customers.
Sales Support:
- Assist the catering, events and travel team with prospecting, lead generation, and follow-ups on inquiries.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with the planning teams.
- Schedule and coordinate sales appointments, meetings, and site visits for prospective clients.
- Maintain and update the honeybook system with accurate contact details, sales activities, and lead status.
- Provide administrative support to the planning team, including preparing sales reports and tracking performance metrics.
Client Relations:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and local businesses.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide necessary information regarding services, rates, and promotions.
Market Research:
- Conduct competitive analysis to monitor market trends, identify customer preferences, and evaluate the competition.
- Provide insights on industry trends to help shape sales strategies.
- Gather customer feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other research methods to improve the overall guest experience and identify new marketing opportunities.
Administrative Support:
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for internal meetings.
- Manage and track marketing budgets and expenses.
- Ensure timely processing of contracts, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
- Handle ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed by the planning and leadership team.
Qualifications
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or sales within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Experience with Honeybook and marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and social media marketing.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
