SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a passionate Marketing, Social Media and Events Manager to represent Motorcycle Mall and Motorcycle Mall of Monmouth, executing marketing strategies, managing social media, and being the face of the dealerships at various events.
Motorcycle Mall and Motorcycle Mall of Monmouth are located in New Jersey and the dealership group is looking to hire a Marketing, Social Media and Events Manager who is actively involved in the motorcycle and powersports industry, who has a deep passion for the industry, who currently rides and enjoys motorcycle and/or powersports vehicles and someone that loves being the face of the company when it comes to events, marketing and social media.
We are looking for candidates that have experience with the vehicles we sell, that has a active motorcycle license and those that can create, manage and execute a traditional and digital marketing plan for multiple dealerships.
In addition, we are looking for high energy professionals with a can-do attitude that know how to wear multiple hats, can multitask, prioritize extremely well and can work both alone or within a team.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Creation, execution, manage and analysis of both digital and traditional campaigns
- Become the face of the Motorcycle Mall brands and dealerships; be able to be behind the cameras to capture the content and not afraid to be in front of the cameras to be the voice of the dealership
- Understand the importance of what traditional marketing and advertising as well as the free element of what social media can bring to a company and know how to use and mix in both
- Someone that knows how to get the maximum ROI of all the marketing, social media and events for everything we do at all of the dealerships in the dealer group
- Creation of digital content (photos, video, website, website content, etc.) for all social media and marketing items
- Create, manage and report on all social media presence including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc. - at least on a monthly, yearly
- Have the ability to use a social media tool like Hootsuite or Sprout Social to plan out an editorial calendar
- Understand the metrics of social media, marketing and advertising initiatives and be able to extract key learnings to continue, edit or adjust in order to maximize the ROI
- Work with owner, General Manager, Marketing Director, all department managers to create sales, specials for the dealerships and to continuously update monthly web specials to maximize sales, service and parts
- Create, execute and manage all dealership events including events off-site, events at the dealership, community activities and sponsored fundraisers
- Continuously analyze sales, parts and service data stemming from the marketing efforts to adjust for changing business needs
- Work with manufacturer funds (co-op dealership funds) to amplify the marketing and advertising efforts
- Understand each manufacturer co-op funds and potential opportunities and their co-op requirements to maximize exposure for the dealership
- Manage and handle all manufacture co-op submissions with each brand and follow up with our manufacturers during the advertising campaign(s) to ensure we get all of our funds
- Ability to analyze, recommend and implement advertising opportunities for the betterment of the dealerships
- Manage online reputation by maintaining review sites including responding to reviews and handling issues as they occur
- Recommend to the Marketing Director all marketing, promotional, advertising, etc. ideas / sales / social media strategy, etc. for approvals
Requirements:
- A motorcycle license and/or experience on powersports vehicle
- Professional and/or personal experience in the motorcycle, powersports and automotive space
- Bachelor’s degree (or relevant working experience) in Marketing, Social Media, Public Relations or related field
- At least six (6) years of marketing / social media / public relations / events experience
- At least three (3) years of management in marketing / social media / public relations / events experience
- Experience with all Social Media sites, Photoshop, Video editing software, Constant Contact, etc.
- Understanding of digital advertising metrics, be able to pull out the key learnings from the metrics and continue to deliver reports and analysis
- Ability to write, edit at a professional level (for marketing, advertising and social media)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems independently
- Professional, courteous interaction with clients and fellow dealership employees at all times
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook, Social Media Channels, etc
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
