Marketing Assistant
LOCATION
In person, possible travel to NYC office.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred; 1-2 years of experience in consumer goods, preferably in the beauty industry; proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support sales and marketing efforts, manage online programs, collaborate with Creative Department, assist with merchandise concepts, maintain brand consistency, coordinate information for accounts, ensure relevant social media messaging, compile PR data, and stay updated on industry trends.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Sales and Marketing Assistant interested in social media to promote and support brands and retail partners while collaborating with marketing and creative teams.
Job Summary
Looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant that has an interest in social media to help promote and support our brands and retail partners.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Work with the Director of Marketing and the Marketing Department to support our sales team and their retail partners.
- Be responsible for several different online programs to support the brand promotions. Ex. Syndigo
- Work closely with the Creative Department to create, proof, distribute and file artwork and photography requests.
- Assist in the collaboration of new visual merchandise concepts, including routing and tracking due dates.
- Assist with the Holiday Gift set program.
- Help to create and maintain presentations for launches, holiday and sales meetings.
- Coordinate gathering of information for accounts (i.e. item set up, planograms, ingredient lists, dimensions). Update files with new/changed copy so brands maintain consistency.
- Work with Marketing to ensure that the social media message is relevant and that all pertinent information is being funneled through social media channels in a timely manner.
- Compile PR data for field distribution on a monthly basis.
- Keep up-to-date on all industry and fashion trends.
- Possible travel to NYC office.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 1-2 years in consumer goods. Beauty industry a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all departments in the company and all levels of personnel.
- Ability to work well in a team environment or independently and be able to evaluate the work completed to assure its quality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in use of social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, etc. for brand reach.
- Ability to learn new applications quickly.
- Experience with AS400 a plus.
Work Schedule
- TBD with Hiring Manger
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
