Produce employee communications and content calendars, create social media posts and videos, manage email marketing, coordinate events, launch a speaker’s bureau, maintain content calendars, automate marketing tasks, and collaborate with designers and copywriters.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Support marketing and communication efforts by creating content, managing social media, coordinating events, and assisting with marketing automation for the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing employee communications and content calendars for an intranet and an automated field request hub.
- Producing on-brand social media posts and social media videos. Follow updates and upgrades on key platforms, track the performance of organic social media content, and offer ideas to increase followers, reach and engagement.
- Managing basic email marketing assignments.
- Coordinating the details around sponsorships secured by the bank and overseeing customer events, as assigned.
- Launching and managing a speaker’s bureau for business developers.
- Working with department leader and team members to keep content calendars up-to-date and assist with reports. This position will also help the team with data integrity.
- Responding to field requests for marketing support and anticipating ways to automate marketing tasks.
- Working with designers, copywriters and printers to produce basic digital and print materials.
- Ability to learn basic videography – both storytelling and using the equipment and editing software necessary to produce basic videos.
- Ability to communicate professionally via email and telephone with employees and external partners.
- Good judgment and strong critical thinking should be evident in all work product as well as in day-to-day project management.
- Should have a four-year degree in communications, marketing or public relations, or hold an associate degree with equivalent professional experience.
- Strong internship experience is essential. Post-college experience in marketing or communications is a plus.
- The role requires the ability to keep track of details across multiple projects and requests.
- Experience creating and tracking social media for business purposes as well as employee communications is necessary.
- An affinity for technology is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to learn the marketing automation software (HubSpot) as well as other platforms the department uses. The ability to use AI to improve efficiency and quality is also necessary.
- Solid writing skills and proofreading skills are important.
- We are not looking for a designer, but an eye for design, the ability to follow a brand identity guide and familiarity with Canva are important.
