As a Marketing Assistant at DATTCO, you will support the marketing team by managing marketing programs and ensuring timely execution of projects across multiple business units.

We operate through three divisions: Motorcoach (supply buses/drivers to tour operators), School Bus (operate school bus routes for local school districts), and Sales & Service (dealerships for bus and truck sales, collision repair, maintenance service, and other related support). We are a fast-growing organization with a diverse customer base, and this key role provides an opportunity for establishing our key marketing efforts across both traditional marketing channels and digital efforts to further fuel our growth.
Marketing Assistant Sought
As our Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our growing marketing team with planning and execution of programs to support our many individual business units. We will rely on you for leading our graphics design, posting of social media information, planning of marketing efforts, and generally keeping us on track with our expanding marketing efforts.
What you'll do here:
- Assist in the planning and execution of the company’s marketing efforts including managing the dates for direct mail, email, print, and digital advertising.
- Help to establish, monitor and maintain the production schedule of marketing collateral items so that distribution deadlines are met.
- Keep the marketing operation running on time, on plan, on task and smoothly.
- Work closely with the marketing specialists and business unit teams to develop strategic creative solutions that meet the objectives and goals for the business, differentiate the brand and product lines, and align to creative vision.
- Develop and enforce cohesive look and feel of visuals, messaging and interactive elements – ensuring all are properly aligned with creative vision and brand standards.
- Keep all creative work on time and on budget; establish schedules for projects, plan tasks accordingly, and ensure goals and deadlines are met. Display a willingness to take action to ensure deliverables are hit in a timely manner.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, always practicing effective communication with team members and managers
- Lead all creative execution to meet business needs
- Assist on-site with local events.
