SHORT DESCRIPTION

United Flea Markets is looking for a part-time Marketing Assistant to support social media and email marketing efforts, while assisting in events and promotions at Mile High Flea Market.

United Flea Markets, is seeking a Marketing Assistant who will be working directly with the Marketing Manager and Vice President of Marketing to provide support with social media and email marketing, plus additional seasonal work such as assistance with events. This is a part time position that requires 4-6 hours on the weekend. Total hours being around 24-26 a week, in office. Bilingual speaker preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead social media campaign at Mile High Flea Market.
    • Must stay on top of the latest social media trends
    • Develop and incorporate trends into Mile High Flea Market’s Social Media
    • Create videos for Mile High Flea Market social media accounts
    • Post and monitor on Mile High Flea Market social media accounts
    • Additionally, track daily posts, engagements, shares, etc on each social media outlet to track trends.
  • Assist in Email Campaigns for UFM
    • Must create content for emails
    • Develop and incorporate events, promotions, seller spotlights
    • Conduct email testing with Manager and VP
    • Schedule email campaigns
    • Additionally, incorporate new tactics for email marketing that will impact growth
  • Develop relationships with onsite vendors and create content of their spaces for social media posting
    • Work with office staff on creating these relationships
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with on-property events, included but not limited to:
    • Assist with greeting, payment and overseeing of event execution
    • Assist with large scale events such as an Easter event, Car Show, etc
    • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma with an interest in Social Media and/or Marketing
  • The position requires working on weekends (4-6 hours on Saturday/Sunday)
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are a must
  • Reliable, consistent, accountable, and trustworthy
  • Able to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Highly analytical, incredible attention to detail, and able to meet multiple project deadlines
  • Must be results-oriented and possess an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a demanding, fast-paced work environment
  • Social Media experience, with a good working knowledge of all social media marketing tools, analytics, and channels
  • Graphic Design knowledge in Canva and/or Adobe Products. Video production skills are desirable but not required
  • Must work in office
  • Must be proficient in using a computer, camera and cell phone
