SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Associate will develop and execute marketing strategies, create content for various platforms, and support corporate communications and brand management efforts within KIRCO.

Position Purpose:

The Marketing Associate will play a pivotal role in creating and executing marketing strategies. This mid-level role is ideal for a professional with 3-4+ years of experience in both graphic design and marketing/communications. You’ll work closely with our Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy to develop proposals, marketing materials, and social media content, while also contributing to corporate communications, digital marketing, and event support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Graphic Design & Content Creation:
Design high-quality marketing materials for both digital and print platforms, including proposals, presentations, websites, social media graphics, email campaigns, advertising, signage, and more. Must be proficient with design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.
  • Proposal & Collateral Development:
Lead the creation of job proposals, qualification packages, and other business development materials. Collaborate with technical teams to write, edit, and review content, ensuring it aligns with KIRCO’s messaging and brand guidelines.
  • Marketing Communications:
Support KIRCO’s marketing and communications efforts by developing whitepapers, case studies, and corporate content. Assist the Content Coordinator in managing various marketing tasks and maintaining consistency in brand messaging.
  • Social Media & Digital Presence:
Manage KIRCO’s social media accounts, create content calendars, and develop engaging content. Monitor social media performance using tools like HubSpot and provide analytics to optimize strategies.
  • Event Support & Coordination:
Provide creative input on event materials and graphics, including signage, invitations, and presentations for key company events such as grand openings, client visits, and internal celebrations.
  • Copywriting & Corporate Communications:
Write and edit content for a variety of platforms, from short-form social media posts to long-form content such as whitepapers and case studies. Ensure a consistent voice across all communications.
  • Brand Management:
Maintain KIRCO’s brand standards across all marketing materials. Create logos, wireframes, and content visuals for web and print use, adhering to KIRCO’s brand identity and style guide.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 3-4+ years of experience in graphic design and marketing/communications, with a focus on both digital and print materials.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva; experience with MS Office and CRM systems like HubSpot.
  • Strong skills in copywriting and corporate communications, including writing for proposals, digital materials, and long-form content.
  • Ability to design from scratch, including creating logos, developing brand guidelines, and designing wireframes and content visuals for the web.
  • Experience in social media content creation and analytics, with a proven ability to drive engagement and optimize performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
