SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Associate will support the Integrated Marketing team by managing campaigns, engaging communities, and creating content, ensuring quality execution across various marketing initiatives.

Summary:

The Marketing Associate supports the Integrated Marketing team by executing a variety of initiatives assigned to them by the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing. In this role, you’ll manage campaigns from inception to launch, ensuring quality and timely communication through cross-functional coordination. You’ll execute grassroots marketing strategies to engage local communities and support the 2025 influencer program by overseeing communications and activations. You’ll create engaging content for newsletters and media channels. Additionally, you’ll handle various other tasks assigned to support overall marketing efforts. The ideal Marketing Associate will possess exceptional communication skills, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and excel at multitasking.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management: Through effective cross-functional coordination, assist in managing campaigns and projects from inception to activation and launch. Responsibilities include developing campaign briefs and creative requests, reviewing creative assets and overseeing quality control. Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained through project management systems to maintain high standards and timely execution.
  • Grassroots Marketing: Assist in developing and executing innovative grassroots strategies to engage local communities and boost brand visibility and engagement. Oversee the entire process including execution, communication and budget.
  • Influencer Marketing: Support the 2025 influencer marketing program by overseeing communications, coordinating event activations, handling ticket requests and managing content creation and reporting.
  • Content Development: Create engaging copy for newsletters, edit publication content, and craft creative requests for both paid and owned media channels.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Journalism or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • One year experience in a sports-related position preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized with careful attention to detail and a skilled multitasker
  • Must be available to work 9 AM-4 PM Monday through Friday with the potential for gameday work
  • Must have a high degree of professionalism
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Suites
  • Working knowledge of Creative Suites

Physical/Environmental Requirements

  • Work may require occasional gameday, weekend and/or evening work.
  • Job may require employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue. May work at heights. Employee may be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb up/down stairs. The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

Compensation:

The projected wage rate for this position is $17.50 per hour. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
