Looking for a Marketing Associate to drive growth and visibility for START's services in the U.S. through effective marketing campaigns aimed at expanding awareness and engagement with clinics and partners.
START represents the world’s largest roster of Principal Investigators (PIs) across its eight clinical trial sites. Committed to accelerating passage from trials to treatments, START delivers hope to patients, families, and physicians around the world. As an example, in San Antonio, where START was founded, START treated the first patient ever with Keytruda – the most effective cancer drug in medical history.
We are hiring a Marketing Associate - US who will play a critical role in driving START's growth and visibility across the United States. This individual will develop and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns aimed at expanding awareness and engagement with START’s existing clinics while promoting our services to attract new clinics and partnerships. The ideal candidate is a creative, results-oriented marketer with a passion for building impactful campaigns that deliver measurable results. This role requires strong collaboration across teams and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
This is a remote role. The annual base salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000. However, base pay may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Design and execute marketing campaigns that increase visibility and patient engagement for START’s U.S. clinics.
- Develop strategies to promote START’s value proposition to potential new clinics and partners in the U.S. market.
- Manage omnichannel marketing initiatives, including digital, social media, email, and print campaigns, to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
- Create compelling content and materials, such as brochures, presentations, and web copy, tailored to various audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical and business development, to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals.
- Monitor campaign performance and generate reports with actionable insights to optimize future efforts.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights within the U.S. healthcare and clinical trial industry.
- Support event planning and coordination for conferences, webinars, and other outreach opportunities.
- Ensure consistent brand representation and messaging across all marketing channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and omnichannel strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in marketing platforms such as Client Relationship Managers (Hubspot), email marketing tools, analytics software, and social media tools such as LinkedIn and X (Twitter).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for driving awareness and growth.
- Passion for advancing cancer research and improving patient outcomes.
- Required to travel up to 10% of the time, which may include domestic and international destinations.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending may be necessary during on-site activities or events.
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds (e.g., marketing materials, event supplies).
- This role can be performed remotely but may require visits to clinical sites, conferences, or other locations.
