Position Summary:
The Marketing Automation Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, management and optimization of Stanley Martin’s marketing automation platform (specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud). This role requires a mix of technical, strategic, and analytical skills. The individual will have a track record with proven results in implementing, managing and optimizing marketing automation systems. This person will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing Technology and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and monitor marketing campaigns, ensuring that our marketing initiatives are data-driven and effective.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drive and execute the implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Lead and execute the on-going administration and optimization of the marketing automation platform to enhance user-experience and campaign execution and performance.
- Configure and maintain marketing automation processes, including audience segmentation, campaign workflows, automation scripts and journey building.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues within the platform to ensure seamless operation.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, customer journeys and multi-channel marketing initiatives.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics, provide actionable insights and implement changes to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements within the marketing function, and project manage and document accordingly.
- Lead data hygiene efforts and ensure proper integration of data sources within Marketing Cloud (and related platforms).
- Manage segmentation strategies to effectively target audiences and optimize marketing efforts.
- Provide training and support to marketing team members to resolve user issues and offer best practices for using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and release updates; implementing new tools and techniques to enhance marketing efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in digital marketing and the real estate, homebuilding, and other applicable segments, to best influence how our marketing engagement strategy can play a role in our overall success.

- BS degree in marketing, business, computer science and/or a related field
- Relevant marketing automation platform certification(s) is a plus
- 3+ years of marketing automation system administration experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar platform). A deep understanding of platform functionalities and integrations, with ability to build, test, and optimize workflows and other automations. Scripting and API knowledge a plus.

- This is a hybrid position, four days a week in office (Reston, VA)
