The Washington Autism Alliance (WAA) is searching for a talented and driven Marketing & Communication Coordinator to join our Community Engagement team. In this role, you will play a vital role in amplifying our voice and connecting with our audience on social media.

What You'll Do
- Craft engaging and informative social media content for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Manage our existing blog and ensure it’s updated with fresh, relevant content.
- Schedule and publish content across all four social media platforms to grow our follower base.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Assist with creating and distributing our monthly email newsletter.
You Are A Perfect Fit If...
- You are a social media whiz with experience using Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.
- You have a strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
- You possess a background in online marketing and are passionate about using social media for good.
- While not required, a working knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva would be a plus.
- You have a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by autism.
- You are a highly organized individual with excellent time management skills.
- You excel at written, verbal, and listening communication.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Docs applications.
- You possess strong computer and internet skills and are comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Bonus Points For...
- Experience working with Donor Management software (Little Green Light or equivalent) and MailChimp.
- Experience working with social media scheduling tools.
- Reliable transportation to attend occasional off-site meetings and events.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.

This is a part-time position (20 hours/week.
Salary will be determined based on experience. Range from 37,500 to 55,000 per year.
