Seeking a creative and organized Marketing Communications Assistant to support internal and external communication strategies, content creation, and digital marketing efforts within a dynamic team.
The Marketing Communications Assistant will provide key support to our marketing team in executing internal and external communication strategies. This role involves content creation, social media management, assisting with campaigns, and coordinating marketing materials. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, proactive team player with a strong understanding of digital marketing practices and a passion for storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating, editing, and proofreading content for marketing materials, including newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, press releases, and more.
- Manage and update content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure brand messaging is consistent across all communication channels.
- Help with the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, online ads, and promotions.
- Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance metrics.
- Support in organising and promoting events, webinars, or trade shows as needed.
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Collaborate with external vendors, influencers, and partners to align marketing initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing databases, and maintaining project timelines.
- Stay updated on marketing trends and industry best practices to suggest new ideas for content and campaigns.
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or similar role preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficient in social media platforms and content management tools.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.) a plus.
- Basic understanding of SEO, analytics, and digital marketing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Creative, with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
