SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Communications Coordinator leads the marketing team at Garden City Realty, ensuring high-quality marketing materials and effective real estate promotions while supporting agents' marketing efforts.
- Supervision: Effectively communicate organizational needs to management, oversee employee performance, provide guidance and support, identify development needs, and foster a mutually beneficial relationship between staff and the organization to ensure success for both.
- Educator: Educate employees and team members when they are new, when you join a new team, when processes change, and when discussing performance expectations. This also applies during meetings, while sharing policies or documents, and in cross-training opportunities.
- Sponsor: As a sponsor, you assume your employees have the necessary skills for their roles and help them showcase their talents. You also support their career development, even if it means moving to a position outside your team.
- Coach: When you coach an employee, you are explaining, encouraging, planning, correcting, or checking in with them.
- Counsel: When an employee's issues impact performance, counseling aims to prevent disciplinary actions. The employee must address the problem, while you provide positive, supportive encouragement.
- Director: When performance issues persist despite education and coaching, it's essential to guide the employee. Clearly outline their options and the consequences, staying calm and serious. Document everything discussed during the meeting.
- Collaboration: Work with sales agents and the marketing team to develop targeted marketing strategies while overseeing the production of campaigns, materials, and advertisements.
- Social Media: Manage the agents' social media accounts, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, using management tools to enhance engagement.
- Email Marketing: Prepare e-blasts and e-news campaigns, and maintain the marketing image library, for real estate agents and the sales department.
- Deliverables: Work with the marketing team to develop marketing materials for the real estate agents.
- Events: Participate in sales-related events both at the office and off-site.
- Collateral: Regularly update and refresh all sales collateral to ensure a customer-centric approach.
- Presentations: Assist in preparing listing presentations and input data into the CMS system. Coordinate the CMS program and generate monthly reports as needed.
- Inventory: Keep general files organized and review MLS listings to ensure deliverables reflect the latest price changes and statuses while adhering to MLS operational procedures.
- Branding: Streamline company materials and campaigns to deliver a consistent and clear message across all platforms.
- Mailing Lists: Support the management of real estate mailing lists to ensure effective delivery, foster connections, keep subscribers informed, and reduce unnecessary spending.
- Real Estate Trends: Stay updated on current trends in real estate advertising, market conditions, and inventory levels to inform strategic planning.
- Reporting: Develop, implement, and track various marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social media efforts, digital campaigns, and provide reports to senior staff.
- Meetings: Attend regular sales and marketing meetings and schedule one-on-one meetings with real estate agents as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Relevant work experience in marketing, communications, or real estate
- Intermediate graphic design experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, as well as organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) required
- Knowledge of Google Drive (docs, sheets, slides) required
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience working with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems using data-driven approaches
