Marketing Content Manager
LOCATION
Hybrid position with up to 2 days of remote work per week; occasional on-site requirements for events and meetings in Estes Park.
QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of content marketing experience, Bachelor's degree preferred, strong writing skills, proficiency in social media management and analytics, detail-oriented, and experience with destination marketing preferred.

The Marketing Content Manager will create and implement strategies to inspire visitation to Estes Park, focusing on leisure markets and events, while ensuring a consistent brand voice and message across all content.

Job Title: Marketing Content Manager
Reports to: Marketing Director
Job Brief: The marketing content manager is responsible for the development and execution of content marketing strategies that inspire responsible visitation to Estes Park. Strategies will support leisure market visitation and destination development events and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the marketing director to develop content strategies and plans that align with marketing and organizational goals, including separate plans for the leisure market and destination development events and initiatives.
- Plan, write, update and analyze the performance of content including blogs, organic social media posts, editorials, consumer newsletter, ad copy and event email marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate on paid media campaigns with the marketing director and agencies to ensure there is compelling content to drive visitation to.
- Work with the staff photographer/videographer to identify, track and execute creative asset needs.
- Integrate messages of sustainability and inclusion across all content types.
- Build, manage, and grow the organization’s social media channels and presence on
Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Monitor and engage in comments and discussions on social media posts.
- Collaborate with internal team members to produce high-quality, compelling content that meets the needs of stakeholders and Visit Estes Park’s audience.
- Collaborate with the marketing director to maintain a consistent brand voice and message.
- Contribute to the execution of destination events organized by Visit Estes Park.
- Graphic design interest and experience a plus.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- 4+ years in content marketing or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject preferred.
- Experience building and executing content marketing plans.
- Detail-oriented, yet efficient, with high standards for work products.
- Proficiency in social media management, analytics dashboards, CMS, CRM.
- Excellent and engaging writing skills.
- Ability to respond promptly and reasonably when making decisions, effective at problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Excel in a team-based work structure; ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
- Demonstrate initiative and follow-through on areas of responsibility.
- Experience at a destination marketing organization or government entity preferred.
Salary range: $65K - $85K annually, based on full-time status

Remote Work
This is a hybrid position that can be worked remotely on average up to 2 days per week. However, there are times when work must be performed in the destination, such as attending destination events, stakeholder meetings, being onsite for VEP team events, covering office work, etc.

- Driving or riding in a vehicle and flying in an airplane may be required.
