POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing efforts in the roofing industry. The ideal candidate will assist in executing marketing campaigns, managing digital platforms, and creating content to increase brand visibility and customer engagement. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation and support business growth through a variety of marketing activities. This role requires a blend of creativity, strong organizational skills, and a passion for the roofing industry.

OBJECTIVES
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and social media.
- Coordinate content creation efforts, including blog posts, website updates, social media, and email newsletters, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
- Manage and update the company’s website, ensuring it is optimized for SEO and user experience.
- Support the planning and coordination of trade shows, community events, and industry-related networking opportunities.
- Track and analyze marketing metrics such as web traffic, social media engagement, and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in managing social media accounts by posting relevant content, engaging with followers, and monitoring for brand mentions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create and update marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and case studies to support sales efforts.
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and timely.
- Work with external vendors, such as designers and printers, to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights to the marketing team to adjust strategies as needed.
- Maintain a marketing calendar to ensure timely execution of campaigns, events, and other marketing initiatives.
- Assist in managing the marketing budget, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, communications, and touchpoints.
- Support the marketing team in lead generation efforts by coordinating online and offline campaigns.
- Assist in market research projects to identify new opportunities for business development and customer engagement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging content.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and SEO.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all marketing materials.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools such as Google Analytics, social media schedulers, and CRM systems.

- Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a marketing calendar and track campaign progress.
- Adaptability and flexibility to adjust strategies based on changing industry trends and business needs.
- Customer-focused mindset, ensuring that all marketing efforts resonate with the target audience.
- Knowledge of the roofing or construction industry is an asset but not required.
- Initiative and proactivity in identifying new marketing opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Ability to manage marketing budgets and optimize expenditures for maximum ROI.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry.
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and content management systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns and deliverables simultaneously.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer or attending meetings.
- Ability to travel occasionally for trade shows, events, and vendor meetings, which may involve walking, standing, and carrying materials.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs may be required for transporting marketing materials to events.
- Flexibility to work both in an office setting and attend outdoor roofing-related events, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
