Assist in the development and implementation of brand strategies, support marketing plans and onsite programs, manage content updates for various platforms, coordinate media opportunities, develop integrated marketing campaigns, ensure marketing materials are current, manage guest requests and complaints, and stay informed on industry trends.

SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Coordinator will execute and support marketing plans and strategies to enhance brand awareness and guest experiences at Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor.

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for a Marketing Coordinator!

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing and supporting the development of marketing plans, strategies, promotions, events, and collateral to drive business and brand awareness.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures.

Job Duties

  • Assist Brand Marketing Supervisor in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
  • Support the Marketing Team in establishing marketing plans, onsite programs and scheduling requests
  • Support the Creative Design Team with creative job requests, purchasing submissions and vendor deliveries
  • Assist in the management of onsite media opportunities including FAM trips, media shoots and photography.
  • Partner other marketing team members to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Perform content updates for website, mobile app, digital signage, sales kits and marketing collateral, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
  • Work closely with Human Resources and Sales Team as a conduit for developing and managing newsletters and employee communications.
  • Organize in-bound/outbound request for all Promotional Winners and Charitable Giving
  • Coordinate information for External Location Agreements such as Photo and Video Shoots
  • Effectively communicate to other team members timelines on marketing promotions and objectives
  • Perform weekly site audits to ensure all marketing signage and collateral is up to date and meets hotel standard
  • Stay abreast of property goals in order to create, support and present departmental goals to executive leadership
  • Continue to learn and be on the forefront of new technology for the hotel industry and stay informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Create ways to further enrich the guest experience by continuously reviewing, implementing and refining procedures to ensure every opportunity to offer extraordinary guest experiences while maintaining a culture of smiles, retention of luxury standards
  • Proactively seek guest feedback and liaise with other departments when opportunities present themselves ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience
  • Manage guest requests and own all complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest’s satisfaction
  • Develop collaborative relationships and synergy with all support departments such as Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Front Services, Front Office, F&B, Golf Course and Executive Offices
  • Ensure all accounting, payroll and employee relations matters are handled in compliance with company policy
  • Perform other functions as needed

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates.   • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Hospitality is preferred
  • Past work experience in Hospitality, Marketing, Advertising or Communications is preferred

Other Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience managing social media and web site content
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Comfortability working independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Successful track record in development and execution of digital campaigns
  • Creative mind and likes to think out of the box and bring new ideas but knows how to stay on task and get things finished.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills including writing long-form and short-form copy for e-commerce sites and other media channels.
  • Experience working with budgets and forecasting.
  • A strong multi-tasker who enjoys working on several projects at a time
  • Ability to work with, analyze and present campaign performance data with a proven track record of using this to track KPIs for successful, performance-based marketing Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
  • Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment.
  • Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
