Support marketing initiatives, coordinate events, manage logistics, create and edit marketing copy, assist with social media marketing, provide administrative support, coordinate meetings, and manage budgeting and invoices.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Assist the marketing department with planning, executing, and tracking marketing programs, including events and social media, while providing overall support to ensure effective communications and marketing strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as event, social media, or content marketing
- Work with Institutional Managers to coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral.
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
- Create "content hub" to be used/communicated across marketing channels
- Assist with social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
- Provide administrative support on marketing campaigns including submissions for compliance review
- Coordinate marketing meetings and agendas
- Reconcile invoices/provide monthly budget support for channel managers
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in marketing and/or communications; proven track record of developing and executing local market public relations support; Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising or a related field; strong writing and project management skills; excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications; demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; must be able to collaborate with a variety of colleagues across the organization; strong organizational, logistical and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining work quality; proficient with social media; work experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.
Some travel required, up to 10%.
