WHAT WE’RE OFFERING
The Marketing Coordinator will focus on the fast-growing Communities Division at United Communications. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to drive growth, working closely with Market Development Managers, builders, and developers across Middle Tennessee. Responsibilities include managing social media outreach, content creation, sales enablement, advertising (traditional and digital), local event planning, and customer testimonials. The coordinator will also oversee daily interactions with third-party marketing agencies, fostering strong relationships. As a member of the marketing team, this individual will enhance United’s social media presence and grow brand awareness. The ideal candidate is flexible, customer-focused, and eager to expand their marketing expertise while delivering impactful results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.
- Develop, manage, execute, and measure marketing plans and programs for the Communities Division and Greenfield developments by utilizing email marketing, direct mail, social media, content creation, sales enablement, advertising (traditional and digital), local event planning, and customer testimonials.
- Create the message and determine the frequency and number of prospect touchpoints for email, direct mail, and social media marketing.
- Conceptualize, write, edit, and post social media content targeting builders, developers, and communities, including Homeowner Associations (HOAs). Respond to comments using United’s brand voice.
- Assist with the creation of marketing collateral, both printed and web-based, for HOAs, model homes within developments, builders’ websites, etc.
- Support content development for Communities landing pages, blogs, and news articles on the United website.
- Collaborate and execute writing, production and posting of video content focused on the target customers for the Communities division.
- Support lead generation strategies for developments with exclusive marketing agreements, whether Greenfield or Brownfield.
- Manage the development of case studies, testimonials, referrals, and references to drive growth.
- Provide support for company-sponsored local events and promotions.
- Coordinate with United’s marketing department and outside agencies to ensure timely execution of internal and external marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with third-party creative and public relations agencies on design production to support the Communities division.
- Contribute to nurturing and enriching external perceptions of the company to drive revenue and market share.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, advertising, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing role (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in the telecommunications or ISP industry (preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Proficiency with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and deliver proactive, result-driven solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Video production skills are a plus.
- Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to provide creative input and design solutions, are highly desirable.
