SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of marketing strategies, creates promotional materials, coordinates events, and collaborates with various teams to enhance OmniTRAX’s branding and marketing efforts.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and execution of marketing strategies and initiatives. Assists in coordinating and creating marketing materials. Supports all marketing events and works closely with key stakeholders to assist with promotional items and events.
The Marketing Coordinator demonstrates and adheres to the company values of safety, honesty, ownership, respect, and teamwork to ensure a successful partnership with customers and employees that results in OmniTRAX’s continued success.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns to promote our railroads, services, and brands
  • Coordinates and manages marketing collateral, including print materials, digital assets, and promotional items
  • Maintain and organize comprehensive library of marketing assets.
  • Supports the organization and execution of marketing events, including conferences, trade shows, customer events, and other promotional activities
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all marketing channels
  • Works closely with sales teams and general managers of railroads to assist with sales materials, promotional items, and events
  • Assist with content creation for various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and web content
  • Monitors and tracks marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders
  • On-site requirement a minimum of 4 days per week subject to change at company discretion
OTHER DUTIES
  • Stays up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing
  • Administrative support – performs other administrative tasks to support the marketing team as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing coordinator/event planning role
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience with event planning and coordination, including logistics management and vendor relations
  • Prioritize work and multi-task effectively to meet deadlines and business objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Wrike, Asana, Agorapulse, and social media platforms
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive results driven mindset

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Previous experience in Rail Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics, Manufacturing and/or Oil and Gas industries
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with digital marketing, content creation

  • Work in a climate-controlled office and routinely use standard office equipment
TRAVEL

COMPENSATION
  • Starting Salary: $58,659
  • FLSA Status: Exempt, Not Eligible for Overtime
  • Eligible for Participation - Annual Discretionary Bonus
