Marketing Coordinator

Position: Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time)

Hours Per Week: 15 hours per week, Flexible Schedule

Objectives of the Role:

· Assist in supporting the company's social media/content strategy.

· Enhance marketing efforts to serve immediate and long-term business goals.

· Support the development and maintenance of internal marketing tools.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the team to support social media efforts by actively participating in content creation.

· Research market trends, customer behavior, and competitor landscape.

· Supporting the Marketing Director in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan

· Communicating campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to their team while providing instructions for promotion or use

· Assist in planning and managing marketing efforts for special events

· Developing various types of marketing deliverables, including social media posts, blog posts and print materials

· Monitoring and analyzing metrics to track the success of social media campaigns

· Assist in taking photos and videos to use for marketing and social media promotions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Experience in marketing or social media coordination or a similar role.

· Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications.

· Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

· Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software.

· Graphic Design knowledge and experience is a plus.

Facilities: 110,000 sq. ft. facility on 22 acres. Facility consists of 6 indoor tennis courts, fitness center, full size gymnasium, 25-meter six lane swimming pool, outdoor feature pool and wading pool, two fitness studios, four locker rooms, 10 outdoor tennis courts, 4 conference rooms and administration offices.

Budget: Organization budget is $4 million. Membership is over $1 million. Hempfield Rec has nearly 6,000 members.

Staff: Hempfield recCenter has 150 staff – 16 full time staff. Staffing increases to nearly 250 over summer months.
