The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs including, but not limited to, email, event, social media, website, and content marketing.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following but are not limited to:
- Assist with creating, proofreading, and editing copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent brand voice (reflective of the client’s brand guide). Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice.
- Assist with website development, blog publication and graphic design for websites on Divi Builder through WordPress and the occasional other platforms.
- Assist with development of emails in Brevo, MailChimp, Constant Contact, and Higher Logic/Informz.
- Assist with creation of standard conference materials, such as slide decks, flyers, signage, and program books for PMG clientele in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Assist with social media creation reflective of brand standards and best practices. Social media scheduling through Planable, Buffer, and other platforms.
- Aid in industry research and admin-related tasks upon request, including adding brand standards, such as colors and fonts to Canva and Divi.
- Attend and contribute to marketing department meetings.
- Other communications/marketing duties as assigned.
- Donor stewardship to ensure that all donors receive a thank you letter for their donation within 48 hours of making gift.
- Assist with program management of initiatives funded through philanthropy
- Research grants-RFP process, collection of applications, preparing for committee review
- Patient Assistance-receive applications, review and provide to committee for review, track payments and oversee grantee deliverables
- Donor prospect research
- Donor database management-ensure all donor data is accurate and up to date
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or a related field.
- Proven success and significant work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid working knowledge of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
- Proven success on creating innovative social media campaigns and expanding audiences.
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office, web analytics, and Google Adwords. Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs and features is a must with experience in web page development or graphic design being very helpful.
- The ability to work efficiently independently and harmoniously in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel if needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Position is in an office setting that involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions. On occasion, the individual must be able to do moderately demanding physical activity such as handling and opening boxes weighing 35-40 pounds, standing and walking extensively throughout the day.
