The Waldinger Corporation seeks a motivated Marketing Coordinator to support various marketing, communications, and event projects, emphasizing project management and execution within a collaborative team environment.

Description




The Waldinger Corporation is looking for a motivated Marketing Coordinator to join its growing marketing and communications team. This is a new position that will work across the team to help project manage, coordinate, and contribute meaningfully to various aspects of marketing, communications, and events. This role is responsible for initiating, managing, and executing internal and external marketing and communications projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, creative thinking skills, the ability to manage multiple projects at once, and excellent communication skills.



Job Duties:

Project Management


  • Supports the planning, organizing, and overseeing of projects executed by the marketing and communications team.


  • Coordinates with multiple departments to define project requirements, create timelines, ensure content accuracy, and meet budget criteria.



  • Support the Marketing Specialist to manage project intake, workflow, prioritization, and communication with stakeholders.





Event Coordination


  • Support the Marketing Events Manager with event preparation, site visits, research, event set up and tear down, and overall event logistics coordination.


  • Track event budgets and ensure spending aligns with allocated funds.



  • Creation and management of surveys, research, and reports relating to the effectiveness of events.



  • Coordinates with third party vendors for vetting, price quotes, scheduling, and relationship management.



  • Event material creation, placement, and set up - name tags, signage, etc.




Marketing/Communications


  • Assists with daily maintenance of social media platforms, website and intranet.


  • Maintains organization and documentation of marketing and communication team projects, files, and creative assets.



  • Manages the associate anniversaries and recognition program.



  • Contributes to the team's content creation needs - writing emails, intranet articles, press releases, social media posts, graphics


  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to established brand guidelines.




  • Assist in creating engaging presentations on behalf of key stakeholders.


  • Performs other work duties as assigned.




Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or equivalent business experience preferred


  • 1-3 years of marketing, event coordination, or project management experience preferred



  • Experience working with project management software preferred (Monday, Asana, Smartsheets, Workfront, ClickUp, etc.)


  • Microsoft Office proficiency: Skilled in using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word



  • Strong organizational skills, with high level of attention to detail


  • Able to manage multiple marketing projects with deadlines and priorities


  • Knowledge of social media platforms, paid search, email marketing, and content management systems


  • Self-motivated, enjoys learning new things, and demonstrates reliability and professionalism


  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and work well with a variety of different individuals


  • Demonstrate the ability to live Waldinger's values of caring for people, caring for customers, getting it right, and doing it right.
