Marketing Coordinator
LOCATION
In person at Brentwood Benson office
QUALIFICATIONS
High school education required; Bachelor's degree in Church Music, Marketing, or Business preferred. Knowledge of Christian music and experience with choirs/praise teams, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and execute marketing opportunities, manage newsletters and promotional materials, assist in advertising copy, coordinate with vendors, oversee social media presence, and represent the company at events.

Job Description:
Brentwood Benson is the world’s leading contemporary evangelical choral and church music catalog, featuring music from acclaimed arrangers Russell Mauldin, Cliff Duren, Marty Hamby, Phil Nitz, Jay Rouse, Luke Gambill, Bradley Knight, and Travis Cottrell (to name a few). The catalog’s award-winning array of products is anchored by the best-selling choral series, Ready To Sing, from arranger Russell Mauldin, with over 3 million Ready To Sing Series books sold.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will:
- Identify, develop and execute new opportunities to market Brentwood Benson with innovative ideas and new ways to reach customers
- Initiate, edit, and oversee manufacturing of all related choral club newsletters and promotional materials
- Assist in proofing audio promotional materials
- Coordinate manufacturing quantities of choral club products with Production
- Coordinate with outside vendors to assemble and ship all choral clubs on time
- Assist in all advertising copy
- Facilitate communication with wholesale accounts
- Coordinate all events, premieres, and materials
- Represent company at various Reading Sessions, Conferences and Trade Shows as needed
- Develop and grow our presence/followers on all appropriate social media platforms
- Schedule all social media marketing
- Design and execute email promotions, schedules and e-blasts as needed
- Increase visibility and positioning on sponsored search results
- Analyze email, web, and social media effectiveness
- Assist with website testing, imports, product, and landing pages
- Travel and occasionally work outside of office hours
- Handle and safeguard confidential proprietary information
- Facilitate other duties as needed

Ideal for those who:
- Have a high school level education, or its equivalent, and Bachelor’s Degree, focus in Church Music, Marketing or Business is preferred.
- Have general knowledge of Christian music with direct experience with choirs and/or praise and worship teams
- Have a professional phone demeanor
- Possess general computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Have a strong work ethic, strong organization skills and pay high attention to detail
- Have excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Possess ability to adhere to deadlines and execute on tasks and handle multiple, diverse assignments
- Demonstrate ability to be innovative and suggest change/improvements within scope of work
