Entry-level B2B Marketing Coordinator role focused on content creation and strategy development to enhance brand awareness and generate leads for the company.
- Write and edit high-quality, persuasive content for various B2B marketing materials, including blog posts, press releases, presentations, case studies, whitepapers, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Create and update content on various CMS platforms including Wordpress and iCims.
- Ensure consistency of tone and messaging across all content, maintaining the company’s voice and aligning with marketing goals.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor content, and the needs of the target audience to inform content creation and ensure relevancy.
- Support SEO content building initiatives and writing keyword-rich content that improves organic search rankings and enhances visibility.
- Assist in maintaining and executing the content calendar, ensuring all deadlines and campaign schedules are met.
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and design teams to develop content that supports lead generation and brand awareness.
- Repurpose and adapt content across various formats (e.g., turning a blog post into a social media graphic or email campaign) to maximize its reach and impact.
- Assist in measuring content performance through analytics tools and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Assist with reputation management, contributing to the process, and engaging with an online audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail, grammar, and style. A portfolio of writing samples (e.g., articles, blogs, social media posts) is preferred.
- Ability to think creatively and develop new content ideas that engage a B2B audience.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and optimizing content for search engines.
- Familiarity with best practices for content marketing, social media platforms, and email marketing.
- Comfortable researching industry topics, trends, and audience needs to create relevant and authoritative content.
- Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in B2B copywriting or content creation (internships or freelance experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or HubSpot.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.) to track content performance
