The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. This role involves assisting with market research, coordinating campaigns, and collaborating with various departments to ensure cohesive branding and communication efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of traditional and digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Support the development of media communication plans and liaise with media outlets and advertising agencies as needed.
- Coordinate with General Managers and Sales Directors to handle media communication during incidents.
- Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for innovative marketing initiatives.
- Assist in managing marketing budgets and tracking expenses.
- Provide support with market analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
- Collaborate on the creation of multimedia content, including presentations, posters, signage, and other collateral.
- Help organize and participate in trade shows, sales blitzes, and other promotional events.
- Maintain relationships with local civic groups, businesses, and community organizations.
- Manage social media accounts by creating, scheduling, and analyzing content to ensure engagement and growth.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field preferred; Associate’s Degree considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
