Role Overview In this position, you will be essential in implementing our marketing strategies and driving engagement with our target audiences. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will manage digital campaigns, develop creative content, and build a strong online presence for our brand.
Primary Responsibilities
Digital Marketing and Campaign Management:
- Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and paid advertising.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize effectiveness and ROI.
- Manage and grow our social media presence by creating and scheduling engaging content.
Content Creation and Design:
- Design and create compelling content in various formats, including graphics, videos, blogs, and email newsletters.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice.
- Collaborate with team members to gather insights and stories for use in marketing materials.
Brand Management and SEO:
- Support branding initiatives to enhance our visibility and reputation in the nonprofit sector.
- Optimize website content for search engine performance.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal teams to understand service offerings and translate them into marketable content.
- Partner with third-party vendors and contractors, such as designers and developers, to execute projects as needed.
- Maintain marketing project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist with event planning and promotion, including webinars and community outreach activities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the nonprofit sector.
- Continuously explore new tools, platforms, and techniques to enhance marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital channels.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, email marketing, and basic SEO principles.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and web design platforms (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
- Familiarity with branding, advertising, and content marketing best practices.
- Extensive experience with CRMs and managing them (HubSpot preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A passion for working in the nonprofit sector and making a positive impact.
Schedule
This is a salaried position with general hours of 40 hours per week. Occasional adjustments to the schedule may be required to support events or campaigns.
Location
