What You Get to Do
- Assist with planning, developing, and implementing of all property-wide events, promotions, and entertainment.
- Design creative and innovative event attractions, utilizing internal resources or outsourcing to qualified vendors as necessary.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution, efficient operations, and effective strategic planning.
- Develop marketing programs that enhance player base, foster long-term loyalty, encourage tier growth, and support player engagement.
- Contribute to enhancing event planning processes and elevating guest experiences.
- Manage box office operations including ticketing and resolving ticket issues, while ensuring appropriate holds and training staff on ticketing software.
- Oversee promotional details, including product procurement, display setup, and managing giveaway logistics from preparation to completion.
- Create and distribute timely communications for all promotions, events, and entertainment.
- Ensure the GC intranet is regularly updated with current and upcoming promotional, event, and concert details for easy access by key departments.
- Manage administrative duties, including processing contracts, creating purchase orders, and maintaining organized records.
- Assist with financial tasks including monthly budgeting, management, and event billing.
- Actively engage in all scheduled events, ensuring flawless execution and promptly addressing any logistical requirements.
- Manage the logistics of event decorations, props, and rentals including their delivery and return.
- Support special projects to assist company management and perform errands as needed for event materials and props.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company policies and regulatory compliance.
- Assess the success of each event by preparing and analyzing financial and performance reports, including proformas and post-formas.
- Operate and manage virtual system(s) for all promotions.
- Retrieve and document required operational reports from systems like Patron/Everi as needed.
- Perform regular inventories/audits of promotional materials to ensure compliance and all items are ready for use.
- Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs) to obtain decorations or services required for events.
- Schedule, organize, and coordinate meetings related to promotions and events.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors while developing rules, procedures, and internal communications for promotions.
- Perform additional duties assigned to meet business needs.

What Qualifies You
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in event planning, entertainment or promotions execution experience required.
- One (1) year supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be able to secure a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
- Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
Must Have Skills
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.
Physical Needs
- Regularly required to talk and hear, see, move around the facility and ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, (up to 8 hours). Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands.
- Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to:
Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels and second-hand smoke.
