Entry-level marketing coordinator & multimedia specialist at Palmer Trucks, focusing on creating engaging content to support marketing initiatives and corporate operations.
Summary:
Palmer Trucks is seeking an individual with relevant experience as an entry-level marketing coordinator & multimedia specialist. The candidate will work closely with marketing and corporate operations and select department directors to develop meaningful video, written web, and photography content emphasizing journalistic standards and storytelling.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, organized content and filmmaker with inbound and digital-focused marketing experience or education, possessing strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills to complete projects while collaborating as a team. This candidate will focus on specific business areas to provide tactical marketing campaign support in addition to media projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, film, and edit long-form videos for the promotion of key business areas, customer education, and support of corporate initiatives
- Support company events and provide media services as needed
- Assist in the curation of written, photographic, and short-form video social content
- Build and measure email marketing campaigns as requested
- Write questions and conduct interviews as part of a storytelling narrative for various content projects
- Film, organize, and upload raw footage to a database for future marketing projects
- Assist with website updates, blog content, and the creation of digital campaigns and landing pages
- Develop collateral for tactical marketing support
- Support ownership with corporate and internal projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong journalistic skillset for interviewing and storytelling
- Excellent initiative, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to understand subject matters and build relationships
- Experience with best practices in film, lighting, sound, and associated equipment
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud with an emphasis on Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, Lightroom, and Illustrator (Final Cut Pro is also sufficient) and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects and DaVinci Resolve is a plus
- Working knowledge of copyright and intellectual property ethics
- Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities with adaptability
- Prior experience with HubSpot, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Salesforce, or similar marketing products is a plus
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in film, telecommunications, digital media, advertising, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field
- Extracurricular activities or coursework in video production preferred
- Commensurate experience to a 4-year degree will be considered

Position Benefits and Compensation Package
This is a full-time, non-exempt position for 40 hours per week. This position is on-site at Palmer Trucks’ Corporate Office in Indianapolis, with the opportunity for occasional remote
work after successfully completing the 90-day introductory period. Video, sound, and photography equipment, and a laptop computer with appropriate software are provided.
