Marketing & Corporate Events Coordinator
LOCATION
Midlothian, TX (with satellite offices in Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience preferred; 1+ years in hands-on marketing and event planning; strong portfolio showcasing design ability; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with sales and business development to identify marketing opportunities, manage email and social media campaigns, coordinate event logistics, design event materials, and ensure budget adherence while maintaining tracking of event resources.

Earthtones Companies, founded in 2002, has grown to become one of the largest family owned and operated landscape companies. Ranked among the top 100 landscapers in North America, we are headquartered in Midlothian with satellite offices located in Dallas, Austin and San Antonio.
As our commercial construction and maintenance divisions and residential greenery landscaping companies continue to grow we have a increasing need for online marketing to help expand our brand and image within our industry. In addition, we are continually hosting corporate events and need an employee who can help coordinate all details internally and externally to ensure customers and vendors have an excellent experience with our company.
Below are the details and required qualifications for this position:
Marketing:
Work together with sales reps and business development managers to identify and evaluate marketing opportunities for us to improve brand awareness, generate leads, and drive revenue in their markets.
Ensure that all leads generated are imported, tagged for tracking, and handed off to the appropriate teams for follow-up in a timely manner.
Manage pre/post-event email communication as well as gathering and distributing essential information for digital campaigns, social media, and related literature to ensure optimal messaging for each event.
Plan and schedule social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Manage all email and social media campaigns.
Monitor social media channels for engagement, trending news, ideas, and feedback.
Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
Assist in ordering company promotional items.
Support inquiries on digital assets from the field teams.
Events:
Evaluate, plan, coordinate logistics, and promote events including annual meetings, trade shows, sponsored events, and Earthtones hosted events. You will manage the process end to end, this includes budget management, handling and upkeep of trade show materials as well as post-event tracking.
Support management of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and attendee management
Track trade show resource allocation and maintain inventory of trade show items
Coordinate and execute the collection, distribution and setup of materials for company events and tradeshows
Create compelling event materials, such as invitations, agendas, graphics, and presentations
Attend all events and be able to educate attendees on all Earthtones products and services
Coordinate invoice approvals and payments with finance
Maintain event folders with invoices
Ensure adherence to all deadlines and budgets are met
Research and manage database of industry trade shows
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent marketing work experience preferred
Strong portfolio showcasing design ability and relevant work.
1+ years in a well-rounded, hands-on marketing and event planning role.
Experience with event planning and trade shows.
Self-motivated and quick learner who can work independently or as part of a team.
A natural problem solver that can pivot on demand, keeping cool, calm and collected. You have mindset that there’s always a solution and you get it done.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
Solid understanding of graphic design principles and aesthetics.
Excellent content creation skills with a keen eye for maintaining brand profile
Proficient in managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
Experience with WordPress for web content management and maintenance a plus.
Experience with Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms a plus.
Familiarity with CRM software a plus
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to prioritization, tracking process, and ensuring all deadlines are met.
Strong attention to detail, organized, thorough, efficient, and completes tasks appropriately in a a timely manner.
Ability to travel. Some weekends or evenings may be required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
