Position Overview:
Nvision Biomedical seeks an experienced Marketing Director with a robust background in medical sales and device marketing, especially within the foot, ankle, and spine sectors. This role will drive strategic marketing initiatives to expand Nvisions footprint in hospitals, surgical centers, and physician practices, with an emphasis on orthopedic and spine device solutions. The ideal candidate has proven expertise in developing and executing strategies that resonate with healthcare providers, surgeons, and hospital administrators, promoting brand awareness and supporting sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies focused on foot, ankle, and spine device markets, targeting hospitals, orthopedic and spine surgeons, podiatrists, and medical practitioners.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine positioning and messaging across both orthopedic and spine product lines.
Collaborate with sales and product development teams to align marketing efforts with overall organizational goals.
Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring that marketing plans effectively communicate the clinical benefits and unique selling points of Nvisions foot, ankle, and spine medical devices.
Create targeted marketing materials and content (digital, print, presentations) that cater to the needs of hospital purchasing teams, doctors, and surgeons specializing in both orthopedic and spinal procedures.
Develop training materials for sales teams to enhance their understanding of product benefits and clinical applications within the spine and orthopedic fields.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the orthopedic, podiatric, and spinal specialties.
Build partnerships with hospitals, medical facilities, and physician practices to foster brand trust and preference.
Engage with doctors and surgeons to gather feedback on product performance across both foot and ankle as well as spine devices, refining messaging to address specific clinical needs and outcomes.
Lead digital marketing efforts, including website content, SEO, social media, and email campaigns, to enhance brand visibility within both orthopedic and spine medical communities.
Use data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, iterating tactics to maximize reach and engagement.
Oversee Nvisions participation in medical conferences, trade shows, and industry events, ensuring the company is well-represented as an innovator in both orthopedic and spine medical devices.
Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the foot, ankle, and spine medical device landscapes.
Collaborate with R&D to align marketing strategies with product development efforts, ensuring market needs are met by Nvisions product pipeline in both orthopedic and spine categories.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical device marketing, with a focus on hospitals and clinical environments.
Deep understanding of the orthopedic, foot and ankle, and spine medical device markets, including sales cycles, regulatory considerations, and healthcare provider dynamics.
Proven track record in leading marketing strategies within a medical sales or device company, demonstrating measurable growth and engagement.
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to distill complex medical information into impactful messaging.
Experience in digital marketing, CRM tools, and data analysis to optimize campaigns.
Strong project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of spine, orthopedic, and foot and ankle surgical procedures and devices.
Established relationships with hospitals, surgery centers, and key orthopedic, podiatric, or spine surgeons.
Background in product marketing with an emphasis on clinical applications and sales enablement.
