Seeking a Marketing Director to oversee brand marketing and content creation, manage B2B strategies, and drive engagement through experiential and social channels at AdHoc in NYC.

AdHoc is a culture company bringing campaigns to life through tailor-made experiences designed to reach niche communities. We are seeking a director level candidate specializing in brand marketing and content creation in our NYC office.

Description

As Marketing Director at AdHoc, you will play a crucial role in how the company and our clients are presented to the world. You understand the B2B marketing landscape and know how to leverage social and lead magnets to fill out a pipeline. You can hold your own juggling tasks across clients and the company, and have experience delegating as work scales. Your rolodex is flush with creators, videographers, and marketing specialists looking to align themselves with the right projects. You understand experiential’s role in brand storytelling and can articulate its value when pitching for new business and KPI-obsessed clients for recurring business.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead company and client marketing efforts end-to-end.
  • Oversee and execute a B2B-driven marketing & social strategy to feed our sales pipeline and build brand love.
  • Managing, copywriting, and publishing social and editorial outlets for AdHoc outlets, including Thought Enthusiast.
  • Recruit strategic partners across AdHoc editorial and client projects.
  • Collaborate with team to translate digital IP into IRL experiential, ranging from high-touch B2B events to consumer-facing viral moments brand showcases, product launches, and retail activations.
  • Pitch and execute compelling marketing plans that amplify brand message via social opps & earned media, capture data & audience insights, nurture audience with an always-on content calendar, and directly address campaign KPIs.
  • Identify social touchpoints across campaign roadmap to plot real-time storytelling and engagement opportunities with brand-right influencers and media.
  • Delegate marketing tasks to specialists and vendors according to scope and scale of project.
  • Create content guidelines, toolkits, and briefs for creators, partners, and internal teams to deliver brand-right assets.
  • Design decks and engaging social assets with company templates and resources.
  • Present data-driven, insight-rich reports with recommendations and areas for opportunity.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of combined marketing experience in brand, content, and experiential.
  • History of successful content and influencer-driven campaigns.
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in social reporting tools like Sprout Social, media buying platforms like Google and Meta ads, email marketing tools like Mailchimp and Hive, CRM software, Adobe Suite, MS Office Suite, and Wordpress.
  • Content creation and graphic design skills for deck-building, social, and visual assets.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose effective solutions.
  • A motivated team player whose enthusiasm inspires our team.
  • Based in NYC for hybrid work.
  • Terminally online.

Salary Range - Base starting at $70k-$100k + Commission.
