LOCATION
Hybrid (3 days onsite in Charleston, SC)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or related field; 3+ years of experience in e-commerce analytics or performance marketing; strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, SQL, and media/e-commerce platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze marketing and sales data, track campaign performance, lead data projects, provide full-funnel analytics, develop SQL queries, champion a data-driven culture, ensure data integrity, conduct customer behavior analysis, and lead post-mortem reporting for major events.

Maxwood Furniture is looking for a Marketing & e-Commerce Data Analyst to enhance data-driven insights and improve e-commerce performance, contributing to the growth of its consumer e-commerce business.
Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands such as Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. Since launching over two decades ago, we have established multiple sales channels including our DTC websites and third-party marketplaces.
We are seeking a new Marketing & e-Commerce Data Analyst to add to our e-Commerce team. Are you ready to be a part of something amazing?
Position Overview

You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations, ultimately contributing to the continued growth of our consumer e-commerce business.
You Are

- A trend capturer: identify patterns in historical data to inform strategies and decisions
You Will
- Analyze marketing and sales data to create reports and actionable insights for various teams.
- Track campaign performance and recommend optimizations across channels.
- Lead innovative data projects, exploring new tools and trends like AI.
- Provide full-funnel analytics for a complete view of channel performance.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to website traffic, user behavior, and online sales to uncover insights and trends.
- Develop SQL queries, automated dashboards, and data tools to track key metrics.
- Champion a data-driven culture by fostering a culture of continuous testing and measurement. Implement A/B testing and personalization strategies to identify opportunities for improvement in the customer journey.
- Be responsible for data integrity by owning all web analytics data sources & tag management, continuously optimizing and auditing.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer buying behaviors to uncover valuable insights that inform merchandising and marketing initiatives.
- Lead post-mortem reporting for major events, including lessons learned and suggested next steps
You Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce analytics and/or performance marketing
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies (e.g., SEO, paid media, organic social, email marketing)
- Proven track record of turning raw data into meaningful analysis, presenting to business stakeholders, and driving value for the business
- Experience with SQL and/or ETL tools such as Funnel.io
- Expertise with media and ecommerce platforms such as Google Analytics, Shopify, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Klaviyo, etc.
- An understanding of media measurement methodologies and tracking (Google Tag Manager, server-side tracking, attribution models)
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated experience working with large data sets
