Seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee marketing operations for Green Boy Group and Green Boy Products, focusing on plant-based ingredients and creative marketing strategies.

To also cater directly to the consumer Green Boy Group launched Green Boy Products, a line of single ingredient, plant-based protein powders that can be used by any home chef.

Now entering an exciting phase of growth, we are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Marketing Manager overseeing the marketing for both entities.

About the Role

We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Marketing & E-CoManager to join the Green Boy team based in Los Angeles. This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative team, overseeing the entire marketing operations of Green Boy Group (B2B) and Green Boy Products (B2C). Green Boy Group currently specializes in plant-based ingredients so a strong understanding and interest in this field will be highly valued. Technical, specific ingredient functionality and application knowledge will be developed as you get to know our portfolio and the industry.

Green Boy’s focus diverts from a classic corporate marketing approach and builds on partnerships, brand building and storytelling. We are looking for a creatively minded, graphically skilled person with exceptional project management and organizational skills that can develop a coherent marketing strategy across all Green Boy Brands and channels.

Responsibilities

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments for both the B2B and B2C market.
  • Manage all Green Boy Products online sales channels (Shopify, Amazon, Walmart)
  • Manage inventory for all Green Boy Products B2C sales channels
  • Develop and execute a marketing communications plan for both Green Boy Group and Green Boy Products including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  • Coordinate all PR activities
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics presented during biweekly meetings
  • Curating, promoting and creating an external and internal newsletter
  • Ideation, design and execution of marketing materials (Flyers, Promotional Materials, Expo Banners, etc.)
  • Overseeing all Social Media Accounts and content creation for Green Boy Groups LinkedIn Account
  • Overseeing all paid and owned marketing collaborations and ads
  • Website design and maintenance

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a combination of social media, content creation, owned, earned and paid media skills
  • Experience in the plant-based food industry or in B2B marketing will be highly sought after.
  • Excellent copy writing and communication skills with a talent to translate complex matters into educational, entertaining marketing communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple challenging projects as a cross- functional team member or Project Leader
  • Strong graphic design and presentation skills (Well versed in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Microsoft Office)
  • Knowledge of commonly used digital marketing platforms and programs (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, WordPress, Klaviyo, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Outlook)
  • Strong knowledge of all main social media platforms and the ability to create high quality content when necessary
  • Analytical and strategic thinker that can formulate and execute a B2B as well as B2C marketing strategy.
  • Ability to create comprehensive ad and marketing reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills, initiative, and resourcefulness
