QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Marketing & Communications), 3-5 years of marketing experience, field marketing experience in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment, and valid driver's license.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Field Activation Specialist will create and execute local marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and drive sales for Angry Chickz, ensuring alignment with corporate marketing objectives.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Field Activation Specialist will work directly with the VP of Marketing, Operations and Restaurant Leaders to develop local strategies, tactics and plans that help the Restaurants and brand achieve its’ goals.
Restaurant Marketing is the implementation of the Angry Chickz brand and Marketing Strategy. At Angry Chickz, Marketing is executed through localized Grass-Roots or Neighborhood Marketing, Media & Public Relations, Sponsorships (paid partnerships with “for profit” organizations) and Active Community Involvement initiatives (paid & non-pad partnerships with “non-profit” organizations).
The Field Activation Specialist will lead the development and execution of Restaurant & DMA level marketing plans that are aligned to brand standards and designed to achieve Business goals. In addition to consistently driving Customer traffic, goals will include establishing a strong brand with clear market positioning to increase brand loyalty and sales. The Field Activation Specialist will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing strategies, tactics & programs and provide feedback, and collaborate with the Support Center Marketing team to influence the evolution of programs, systems & processes.
Primary Responsibility – Support Restaurants to drive sales
- Local Marketing Execution:
- Develop and implement localized marketing initiatives that align with corporate strategies and resonate with the target community.
- Support store openings, events, and promotional campaigns to drive traffic and brand awareness.
- Community Engagement:
- Build relationships with local organizations, influencers, and businesses to foster partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
- Represent the brand at community events and ensure consistent messaging and positive brand representation.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor the success of marketing initiatives through KPIs such as foot traffic, sales lift, and customer engagement metrics.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the corporate marketing team to optimize future campaigns.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between corporate marketing, franchisees, and store teams to ensure alignment on objectives and messaging.
- Train and support store teams on executing marketing initiatives and maintaining brand standards.
- Budget Management: Manage allocated budgets for field marketing activities, ensuring cost-effective and impactful spending.

- Bachelor’s Degree Required (Marketing & Communications degree preferred) or relative experience in a field marketing role
- 3-5 years of Marketing experience required
- Field Marketing experience in a multi-unit restaurant /retail environment (“trade area based” marketing planning & execution)
- Knowledge and experience working with media and sponsorships including establishing new & maintaining relationships, negotiating contracts, implementing assets and assessing impact
- Possess a valid driver's license
- General knowledge of core marketing concepts and competencies
- Operational mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong brand and financial acumen
- Expert time management and project organizational skills
