Seeking a Marketing and Impact Coordinator to drive brand awareness and support social equity initiatives at YWCA El Paso del Norte, enhancing communication and marketing strategies to empower women and eliminate racism.

Summary:
The Marketing and Impact Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the marketing team's efforts to execute successful marketing campaigns, drive brand awareness, and achieve business goals. This position involves coordinating various marketing activities, powerful storytelling, ensuring smooth communication between teams and community stakeholders, and contributing to the overall success of marketing and fundraising initiatives. Ensures agency mission and impact is effectively communicated to the target audience, ultimately contributing to the organization's success in the marketplace. Works with team, CEO, board members, committee members, and community partners to maintain a high standard of YWCA’s community reputation.
Job Summary:
- Marketing and Impact Coordinator uses the platform and voice of YWCA El Paso del Norte Region to promote diversity, inclusion, equity and justice. Collaborates with various stakeholders to create a more just and equitable environment.
- Social Equity and Racial Justice Program: Lead, plan, and implement, along with the Board Social Equity Committee, programmatic work and curriculum that pushes forward the organization’s mission to eliminate racism.
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate social equity considerations into the organization's communications and marketing strategies. Develop and execute communication plans to raise awareness of social equity efforts.
- Communications: Compose internal and external communications on behalf of the agency and various program areas.
- Campaign Coordination: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, print, events, etc.). Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget and properly executed.
- Public Relations: Maintain media relationships and coordinate media buys for events. Write and disseminate press releases, invite media and elected officials to events. Coordinate with city and county officials for special events and projects.
- Content Creation and Management: Assist in the creation and editing of marketing content, including copywriting, graphics, videos, and other visual assets. Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery and publication of marketing materials. Maintain consistent brand messaging.
- Digital Marketing Support: Assist in managing the company's social media accounts, including content scheduling, engagement, and monitoring. Support the execution of email marketing campaigns by organizing email lists, creating templates, and tracking campaign performance.
- Event and Promotion Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating promotional events, community events, fundraising and donor events, webinars, and other marketing activities.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in tracking and analyzing marketing campaign performance metrics. Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Market Research: Conduct research to gather insights on target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Provide recommendations based on research findings to enhance marketing strategies.
- Budget Administration: Manage marketing-related administrative tasks such as budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement of marketing materials.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree required with emphasis in marketing, graphic design, public relations, nonprofit management and business, or related field preferred.
- Three years working experience in marketing and social media.
- Previous graphic and visual design responsibilities preferred.
- Willingness to embrace fast paced, high volume marketing needs of robust community agency.
- Must be a self-starter and able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to be an effective project manager; lead by example, kindness and empathy, with a “can-do” work ethic.
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills as well as an exceptional eye for detail.
- Strong writing and editing skills in English required. Spanish reading, writing and verbal communication skills a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required, with ability to interact at all levels in a respectful, professional manner.
- Must be organized and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a busy work environment.
- Hands-on computer skills required, including experience working with design software, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and Zoom.
- Must have vehicle with required liability insurance and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be flexible to work evening hours when required, other duties as assigned.
