Marketing Intern

Summary

The Boca Raton Resort and Club is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern from a hospitality college to join our dynamic marketing team. This internship is designed to offer real-world experience in the hospitality industry, focusing on administrative support within the marketing and communications department. The ideal candidate is a current student or recent graduate who is eager to learn and contribute to our resort's success.

Essential Functions

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

• Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns, under the guidance of senior staff.
• Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the marketing department.
• Maintain and organize digital and physical marketing files, including campaign reports, promotional materials, and photo libraries.
• Help in compiling data for marketing reports and presentations based on specific criteria.
• Support the team in managing schedules, booking meetings, and organizing events.
• Assist with the distribution of marketing materials.
• Provide logistical support for promotional events and trade shows, including preparation and on-site assistance.
• Help maintain social media platforms and website updates under supervision.
• Engage in market research and analysis under the guidance of marketing professionals.
• Support the marketing team in sending and tracking correspondence.

Internal Relationships

Reports to Chief Commercial Officer.

External Relationships

Has regular contact with associates.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related program.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with marketing software and tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Enthusiasm for learning more about marketing and communications within the hospitality industry.
