The Marketing Lead is a pivotal role, combining strategic vision with hands-on leadership. You’ll craft and execute a marketing strategy that spans across Paid/SEM, SEO, Content, Affiliate, Social, Email, PR/Branding, and SMS, driving growth, elevating customer engagement, and amplifying our brand. We’re looking for someone with broad marketing experience and expertise in paid media and affiliate marketing. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

Strategic Planning:
- Craft and implement a marketing strategy tailored to the unique needs of our Digital Retail and Illuminate divisions
- Drive customer acquisition and retention for both B2B and B2C through various channels
- Stay ahead of trends and insights to uncover opportunities that align with our mission to illuminate life
- Oversee and manage the marketing budget, including planning, allocation, tracking, and optimization, to ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with organizational goals

Channel Management:
- Lead SEO/SEM strategies to drive high-quality traffic (because organic or paid, we’re all about the glow)
- Create engaging content that lets our designs and expertise shine bright
- Develop affiliate programs that expand our influence in both design-savvy and trade-professional audiences
- Spark social media campaigns that showcase our brand’s warmth and creativity while highlighting incredible Illuminate projects
- Enhance email and SMS marketing campaigns to enhance customer touchpoints for both divisions
- Stay on top of marketing trends, compliance updates, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities

PR & Branding:
- Leads unique and creative PR initiatives to elevate Lamps.com as a leader in the lighting industry
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels—we don’t dim the mission or values for anything

Performance Analysis:
- Monitor KPIs, campaign effectiveness, and adjust strategies to optimize results
- Deploy incrementality tests to be able to optimize spend thresholds on paid campaigns
- Share insights and actionable recommendations with leadership to keep our strategies sparkling

Collaboration & Leadership:
- Partner with each of the divisional teams to develop and support the overall business strategy
- As a key member of the leadership team, help shape and guide the company’s overall direction and strategy
- Support additional marketing campaign efforts and perform ad hoc analysis as needed

Manage Partnerships
- Work closely with external partners and agencies to guide tactics, provide internal metrics, and ensure budgets are aligned with campaign objectives.
What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications):
- Proven experience setting marketing strategies in both B2C and B2B settings, that are both bright and bold
- Leadership experience in marketing roles
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, platforms, analytics, and performance optimization
- Exceptional communication skills and a strategic mindset that can turn ideas into illumination
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Adobe) is a plus
- A passion for design or experience in design-focused companies is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment
