LOCATION
Hybrid (reporting to Three Oaks, MI and Valparaiso, IN offices as required)
QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of marketing management experience required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. Strong communication, team management, and organizational skills required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the marketing team and develop brand strategies, oversee marketing assets and communications, execute and measure marketing plans, and maintain effective social media content.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Manager at Journeyman Distillery is responsible for leading marketing efforts, engaging customers, managing a creative team, and upholding the company's core values while driving growth and excellence in brand representation.
- The Marketing Manager will report to both the Three Oaks, MI and Valparaiso, IN offices as required.

The Marketing Manager at Journeyman Distillery is the orchestrator of all efforts to reach and engage both prospective customers and loyalists alike. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Manage the team to achieve desired outcomes.
- Conduct the Journeyman Distillery Employee Ecosystem as per the process with every direct report.
- Manage the resourcing of roles within the department, with a focus on cultural fit.
- Coach team members to effectively complete tasks, communicate effectively with other stakeholders, and grow their skills.
- Oversee Performance Management of direct reports including terminations, ensuring positive and respectful relationships are maintained.
BRAND
- Collaborate with the CEO/Founder and Marketing Director to create the Brand Strategy.
- Create and manage all marketing assets including images, blog posts, videos etc.
- Manage the website content and maintenance.
- Create and post all social media communications.
- Identify and manage participation from start to finish at suitable conferences.
MARKETING
- Collaborate with the CEO/Founder and Marketing Director to create the Marketing Plan.
- Oversee the marketing direction so that it is aligned to the business vision.
- Execute and measure the marketing strategy and pivot as required.
- Oversee the advertising activity for the business.
- Create and oversee the Journeyman Distillery content calendar.
- Run monthly marketing meeting with Marketing Director & Team.
- Prepare marketing analytics reports with commentary and recommendations.
- Understand the current customer demographics, target audiences and market trends effectively position the business and enhance growth opportunities.

YOUR EDUCATIONAL AND WORK-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
- Five years of Marketing Management experience required; B.A. in Marketing, Business or relevant field is preferred. Industry experience in beverage distribution or hospitality is preferred, but not required.
- Exquisite communication and people skills.
- Proven experience in team building and management
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
- Working knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe software, marketing computer software and online applications.
- Proficient in Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel and Teams.
- Proven experience managing effective social media content.
- General knowledge of photography and video design and production is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of general business administration practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus.
