The Marketing Manager will lead strategic initiatives to enhance brand presence and generate leads through effective online and offline marketing campaigns.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager role requires an energetic and intuitive marketing strategist with exceptional leadership and communication skills. The candidate will have proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results.
Experience in strategic marketing planning, branding and product development. Should be adept in online and traditional marketing and is highly skilled in visual communications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the success of products, services & brand promise in the marketplace. This individual will provide the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned:
- Execute online and offline marketing initiatives, integrating online and new media, email, print, direct mail, social media, company websites, strategy development, brand awareness and content marketing initiatives. The ability to speak to how these channels work together is very important.
- Work with Department Managers and Team Leaders to develop product and service offerings, key benefits and messages for use by sales and marketing.
- Work with Representatives and Sales to cultivate reference accounts for products and services; identify client success stories and create appropriate case studies and collateral.
- Create compelling marketing campaigns using developed strategies clients to use to produce results (leads)
- Create content for corporate marketing collateral, website/blog/social media, and other initiatives
- Produce and/or assist on press releases, contributed articles, presentations, events, and conferences
- Internal reporting and other duties as assigned
- Coordinate and oversee tradeshow and meeting event logistics.
- Responsible for the development and fulfillment of the events and marketing budgets.
- Annually develop and implement marketing plans and materials.
- Write, submit and follow-up to ensure placement of Content Marketing assets to established contacts with key industry channels as well as local and regional media.
- Maintain company website and web presence.
- Broaden social networking to benefit the organization.
Marketing Campaign Project Management:
- Responsible for all aspects of marketing projects, including meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, campaign analysis, and tracking / monitoring procedures
- Establish and articulate marketing project scope, strategy and objectives to internal clients, production team and key leadership
- Manage creative production of online and offline marketing assets, graphic design, video production and web development, from the initial concept to finished product and execution
Market Research and Competitive Intelligence
- Understand the products and services offering. Work closely with Sales, Internal Teams and Business Development Team to stay current on market trends.
- Conduct various interviews, including win/loss and post-engagement client interviews/surveys to identify trends and make recommendations to Business Development and Sales.
- Conduct marketing surveys on current and new service concepts
Required Skills / Special Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of professional marketing experience
- Experience working closely with a sales organization with a strong affinity for sales team success. Previous sales experience is a plus.
- Prior experience working with sophisticated direct mail programs, direct marketing agencies or with software or services providers: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficient in web page creation and maintenance skills. Experience with Adobe Muse a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, CRM a plus
- Tradeshow logistics experience
- Marketing Automation Software knowledge a plus
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Fluent in spoken & written English required, German, Spanish, or French a plus
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug & background check
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Skilled in direct response marketing with ability to craft integrated marketing strategies across all channels and touch points, including website, print communications, online communications and direct mail

- Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
- Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, squat, push, pull and move about the facility
- Must be able to sit to do data-entry for extended periods of time as required
- Walk or stand at least 6+ hours per day as required
Due to meeting show/ad deadlines consistent attendance is an important function of this role.

- Shop: Some exposure to warehouse environment when shipping or receiving items
- Travel: May be required to fulfill the duties listed above or for training opportunities and experiences.
