Position Overview and Responsibilities

At Sentral, we are building a team of people-first focused individuals who thrive on going above and beyond. Ideal candidates will exemplify a good sense of humor, a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial drive. They will work on marketing operations designs; develop, approve and implement a successful business marketing plan for a portfolio of multi-family residential properties through the strategic use of social media, digital and print advertising, events and other channels to drive qualified traffic and maintain or increase occupancy. The position reports to the Marketing Director while working collaboratively with the internal marketing and creative team and will play a critical role in extending the brand awareness.


This is remote position based in Philadelphia, PA that will require up to 25% travel to communities.



Job Duties:

  • Collaborates with the Brand Manager and production assistant to deliver marketing collateral to leasing teams(brochures, ads, flyers, stationery, business cards, etc.)
  • Define yearly marketing budgets with Marketing Director for Executive Committee approval
  • Requests, reviews and negotiates third party SOW proposals before sending to Marketing Director for approval and update it throughout the marketing budget cycle.
  • Implement SEO ( Search Engine Optimization )and SEM (Search Engine marketing) strategies and recommendations provided by the Data Strategist.
  • Oversees property websites and uses analytics data to suggest ways to increase presence and capture leads; works with internal team to implement and make necessary updates
  • Develops creative campaigns and advertising materials in conjunction with internal design team and external vendors.
  • Implements, reviews and optimizes pay-per-click campaigns.
  • Monitors online reputation and ensures management is aware of any issues.
  • Tracks, monitors and reports on lead sources, traffic and campaign effectiveness.
  • Setting up constant communication e-blasts to property residents such as quarterly surveys, event announcements, property announcements.
  • Attends broker and resident events to ensure execution quality and resident community outreach
  • Coordinates signage artwork creation with Brand Manager, production and installation team.
  • Codes marketing expenditures, processes for payment and tracks against budget.
  • Creates PR memos and calendars for weekly marketing department review, include drafts for press release when applicable
  • Create weekly collateral production sheets and calendars for marketing department review and for Brand Manager to process
  • Plans and coordinates photo/video shoots; compiles and maintains photo, video and other collateral libraries.
  • Responsible for planning and managing marketing events for the properties.
  • Completes special projects and performs other related duties and assignments as required.
  • Stays abreast of competition and real estate and marketing trends and create quarterly market research reports to be re to reviewed by the Marketing Director and pass on to the Development Department
  • Some travel may be required, within territory and to other markets.

Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 5 years of product or real estate marketing experience
  • Digital and social media marketing experience.
  • Graphic design experience a plus (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, well-organized and deadline oriented.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities, working well under pressure and handling stressful situations in a professional manner.
  • Must interact effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.
