What you’ll do

  • Based upon competitive knowledge and thorough research, contributes market insights to the vision, strategic plan and theme for each new community including the product, sales center and model homes
  • Preparation of Competitive Market Analyses (CMAs) or Value Graphs for local market
  • Regularly perform strategic marketing analysis, strategic planning, and financial tracking to target best value marketing targets
  • Assists the VP in preparation of fiscal marketing budget and tracking department spending, analysis of competitive ad exposure and spending to inform budget adjustments and future year spending needs
  • Work with external ad agency and corporate marketing to develop marketing and advertising plans for communities
  • Tracking, booking and proofing weekly advertisements, including specialty sponsorship advertising
  • Coordination of signage locations and layout, as well as initiating design and installation, obtains all necessary permits, and ensures pristine condition of all signage over time
  • Assists in maintaining and updating divisional aspects of the company website and ensuring accuracy of information presented
  • Coordinating improvements to online marketing and sales processes
  • Conduct monthly printed material inventory and co-ordinate with Ad Agency or local vendors for delivery or reprint
  • Assists in the coordination, planning and recap of all industry, community and Realtor events

What you bring

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing, with construction/real estate
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management/leadership role
  • Ability to multi-task, recognize deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive sourcing of information and experience with market research and analysis
  • Excellent organizational, communication and social skills
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Word and Excel, REMLS, minimal knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Site Core preferred

Bonus points

  • Preferred experience in real estate/construction related marketing
  • Preferred experience working for a residential home builder (local/regional/national)
  • Preferred experience with advanced marketing tools and software (Google Analytics, SEO optimization, Illustrator, photoshop, Canva, etc.
