Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and enhance our brand presence. The Marketing Manager will optimize marketing campaigns, streamline internal processes, and maintain up-to-date media and in-store branding. This role involves developing digital marketing, inventory coordination, trend monitoring, and liaising with third-party partners. The role needs to ensure that all marketing content/material validates and promote Carpet City Flooring Centers competitive advantage points.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Marketing & Advertising Campaigns:
- Create email campaigns that highlight “call to action” services
- Create and implement Google Business Listings and AdWords campaigns corresponding to each market, proofread content and track results.
- Execute email blasts to both converted and non-converted customer segments, especially around sale events.
- Develop creative ideas for email and text campaigns aimed at different customer demographics.
- Create and post social media ads corresponding to current ad campaigns for each market. Maintain and update ad campaign calendars
2. Digital Content and Video Creation:
- Design brochures, marketing pamphlets, and other materials that are professional, engaging and easy to understand.
- Produce video content to be used across multiple platforms.
- Design private label, sample board stickers for new products.
- Ensure all ad campaigns have clear calls to action or irresistible offers, optimizing brand alignment.
3. Website and Social Media Management:
- Regularly update the Carpet City Flooring Center, Hassel Free Flooring, Rigid Max and any other affiliated websites with new products and promotions.
- Maintain top-quality images, product specs, and marketing materials across all platforms.
- Design and upload private label product catalogs and specs, coordinating with web providers and FloorVIEW partners.
4. Inventory Management:
- Conduct annual inventory checks to ensure accuracy and organization at Carpet City Flooring Center stores.
- Finalize inventory audits at Carpet City Flooring Center stores
5. Store Coordination:
- Support stores with all marketing materials and ensure brand consistency in all outlets.
- Coordinate pickup and deliveries for Hassel Free Flooring.
6. Data Management and Automation:
- Maintain catalog of current top down and room scene images of all imported products. Obtain and maintain trending stock images of flooring.
- Create QR Codes for all Designer Series products linking them into FloorView.
- Create QR codes for all applicable products.
- Maintain up-to-date product and price catalogs for Hassel Free Flooring and manage their distribution.
- Work with AI tools to create innovative and engaging content for promotional campaigns.
- Implement efficient workflows and consider ways to automate repetitive tasks.
7. Vendor and Partner Liaison:
- Act as the main contact for outsourced marketing partners, including but not limited to Google AdWords, Floor Force, Little Digital Marketing, and Digital Muse.
- Oversee web plugin subscriptions, consolidate and keep track of all website updates to ensure timely completion.
8. Trend Analysis and Market Positioning:
- Research and monitor industry trends to ensure all marketing materials reflect a trendsetting approach.
- Regularly survey competitors to validate Carpet City Flooring Center’s competitive advantage.
9. Executive Assistance & Task Management:
- Assist and complete any task as assigned by the executive team.
- Assist Human Resources with promotional recruiting.
- Adapting to changing priorities.
- Follow through all projects (internal or external) to completion.
COMPETENCIES:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, CoralDRAW, Canva, Google AdWords, and Office 365.
Marketing Insight: Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and a keen eye for design and trends. Ability to quickly identify and present compelling marketing messages.
Efficiency & Innovation: Ability to streamline processes, think creatively, and work efficiently with automation tools. Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to create clear, engaging marketing content. Strong customer focus with the ability to persuade and engage through promotional materials
