We’re looking for a driven and dynamic Marketing Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and embraces ambiguity. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys wearing multiple hats and managing multiple projects across content, digital advertising, lead generation, and more. If you’re energized by tackling new challenges daily and working across all areas of marketing, this role is for you.
In this position, you’ll oversee the full spectrum of marketing activities – from content creation and social media to lead nurturing and campaign management. Success requires creativity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive impactful results. This is an in-office position, five-days a week based at our headquarter office in Portland, Oregon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Positioning & Messaging –Assist in translating product technology attributes and features into relevant and compelling consumer/customer messaging.
- Marketing Campaign creation- develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to promote products and brand initiatives.
- Content Creation – Develop engaging digital content, including white papers, blog articles, customer case studies, webinars, and ad messaging to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
- Content Calendar Ownership – Oversee and manage content calendars for social media, print media and digital advertising, ensuring consistency and alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Social Media Management – Own and manage all social media channels, driving engagement, growth, and community interaction.
- Performance Marketing - Manage performance marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, email, social media, and print advertising.
- Lead Generation – Coordinate with sales teams to support lead generation initiatives and optimize conversion rates. Develop and execute vertical-specific lead generation strategies for small, mid-market, and enterprise-level clients including increasing and monitoring KPIs such as lead gen, CAC, CPL, and more to ensure that our reach continues to grow.
- Email Marketing – Develop and execute targeted email strategies segmented by vertical and customer size.
- Collateral Development – Create sales and marketing collateral to support the sales team, including presentations, brochures, and product sheets.
- Print Media – Develop strategies for print media campaigns and track performance.
- Tradeshow Support – Manage tradeshow logistics, including booth design, creative development, and collateral creation.
- Relationship Marketing – Develop and manage onboarding campaigns for new customers and consumer mobile app subscribers.
- Website Management – Oversee website copy changes, updates, and ensure content aligns with marketing objectives. Assist in SEO optimization.
- Oversee and optimize marketing budgets to maximize ROI.
- Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing role, preferably within the technology industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns including content creation and lead generation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of social media management, digital advertising, and marketing automation tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Experience leading tradeshow strategies and tradeshow management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, measure, and report on marketing performance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels: SEO, PPC, email marketing, content marketing, and social media.
- Experience with CRM platforms and email marketing tools.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other key platforms.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce)
- Intermediate skills in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Creative thinker with strong ability to translate ideas into creative.
- Web design and website editing familiarity [Wordpress or similar].
