HSU Hospitality Management is a local family-owned restaurant group with over three decades of combined restaurant experience. We manage Sweet Auburn BBQ, Tio Lucho's and Gezzo's. Job Purpose:
The Marketing Manager ensures the growth of our restaurants through developing effective advertising campaigns that help sell products and services. They also create lasting relationships with consumers and boost revenues. They implement and oversee many creative, digital, analytical, and financial aspects of marketing projects. This person is instrumental in boosting sales and distribution, market research, and content creation.
Duties and Responsibilities: (includes but not limited to)
Your Role:
- This is a “hands-on-keys” role that is responsible for building social campaigns across Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Linked In, Reddit, and other platforms optimizing campaigns to deliver improved performance.
- Photograph and take videos for social media posts
- Make Graphic design materials/flyers/posts with Adobe Design or Canva.
- Develop innovative, localized paid social approaches to drive guests into local restaurants, while managing separation from national campaigns in partnership with the National social team.
- Monitor campaigns to ensure appropriate pacing relative to budgets and targets.
- Update and optimize budgets and insertion orders throughout the year based on brands’ needs.
- Perform monthly billing and invoice reconciliation.
- Manage email lists and CRM
- Manage and enforce internal marketing restaurant software
- Manage the builds, tagging, reporting, and financial management for Paid Social campaigns across the portfolio.
- Manage and respond to reviews on Google, Yelp, Online review listings
- Partner with Managers to support the various steps required to ensure proper asset alignment (including creative & traffic fulfillment) across media buys; this will include implementation and QA of tagging as necessary across in-house Paid Media buys for measurement reporting and accuracy.
- Pull and structure data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and review with necessary stakeholders to impact optimizations and business decisions.
- Support the integrated reporting of documents – including migration to dashboard reporting – as needed by cross-functional team members for internal and external purposes.
- Maintain accurate record of budgets (planned v. actuals) and oversee the billing process for in-house Paid Media.
- Proper management and reconciliation of all account budgets in accordance with media authorizations.
- Interface with external/internal teams in managing requests concerning processes and deliverables. This will include but not be limited to internal brand and enterprise analytics teams and 3rd party auditors.
- Attend and actively participate in regular status meetings (both internal and external) to help prioritize deliverables, takeaways/next steps, and timelines with Managers.
- Demonstrate a “big picture” understanding of brands' marketing strategy and the role Paid Social plays.
- Help in identifying key partners and tactics within planning windows for specific brands.
- Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the owners and marketing managers to evaluate the specific marketing needs of assigned markets, establishing a tailored support approach, focus areas, and expectations based on market coverage needs, divisional priorities, and individual restaurant performance
- Develops trade areas through both on-the-ground and remote initiatives by forming new partnerships and sponsorships, while managing the internal community marketing plan and overseeing the execution of quarterly marketing plans
- Enforces store brand standards and Restaurant Marketing philosophies, serving as the Restaurant Marketing lead for both new and established markets
- Builds active community involvement by driving in-restaurant fundraisers and fostering overall growth in large order sales
- Develops and executes business unit marketing plans aligned with divisional marketing priorities, including objectives for sales, customer growth, ROI, and brand goals
- Leverages ROI methodologies to measure the effectiveness of marketing plans and recommends adjustments to improve outcomes
- Supports new market and advertising growth through planning, canvassing, and execution as needed
- Collaborates with owners and leaders and support development opportunities, and effectively manage partnerships and activations
- Identifies unique market needs, such as urban or college environments, and partners to provide tailored support
- Manages the CRM across all concepts
- Participates in ongoing training to remain current on marketing programs and philosophies
- Attends company team meetings, monthly business reviews, and other relevant functional meetings for assigned markets
- Identifies restaurant needs and supports the store operators on initiatives, projects, and resources
- Provides support for marketing activations, food truck events, and influencer engagements, as needed
Working Conditions:
- Working in a group dynamic with restaurant operators to develop marketing plans and strategies
- Working off site at promotional and community events that may require 6-8 hours of standing
- Networking to expand our brand's reach in the community
- Working on site a different restaurant locations
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the restaurant industry
- Strong skills in SEO, social media marketing, and multichannel marketing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for content creation
- Experience with budgeting and marketing automation tools
- Familiarity with performance marketing, e-commerce, and WordPress
- Excellent copywriting and research abilities, with a focus on B2B marketing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
