This venue will be a stunning, 300-capacity seated concert venue inspired by landmark jazz clubs, will open in early 2025, offering an elevated music and dining experience in the heart of Chicago’s West Loop, the city’s premier dining district. This venue will prioritize exceptional musical curation, artful interior design, and state-of-the-art acoustics. The food and beverage program promises to be among the finest of any concert venue in the country. This venue will be a welcoming space for music lovers and artists of all kinds and an innovative experience in live concert venues.
Job Description
This venue is looking for a Marketing Manager that is a progressive, collaborative, forward thinking marketer, communicator, and digital leader who is constantly ahead of the curve regarding consumer engagement, content marketing, advertising, street promotions, and digital products. Reporting to the General Manager at the venue and Marketing Director at Headquarters, the Marketing Manager plays a vital function as a senior member of the venue team and works closely with an array of departments to help shape the strategy and execution of all marketing campaigns for the venue.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage show marketing: print, radio, digital, street, contests and guerilla
- Work across venue departments to communicate goals and maintain focus on core values of marketing campaigns
- Lead social media and content strategy/execution to build and continually expand reach and engagement
- Identify and cultivate strategic and local brand partnerships that generate earned lift
- Lead strategy around technology adoption to ensure business properties are dynamic, evolving and authentic
- Maintain a progressive and nimble approach to online advertising
- Drive focus on digital analytics ensuring company is making informed marketing decisions
- Employ marketing strategies and tactics that expand beyond digital to help execute integrated marketing campaigns
- Communicate closely with co-workers at headquarters to ensure best practices and maintain company standards
- Inspire a culture of innovation when working across teams
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing platforms and social strategies
- Ability to balance macro-thinking with hands-on execution
- Ability to be detail-oriented, flexible and handle complex issues
- Proven track record managing innovative, successful email campaigns
- Ability to strategize marketing spends, report/audit and measure ROI
- Consumer and service oriented
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and focus in stressful situations
- High comfort level interfacing with managers and artists
- Ability to accurately represent this venue to all external contacts
- Well organized, professional, confident, passionate and calm
- Deep Knowledge of music genres and the music industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3 – 5 years of music marketing experience with emphasis on digital
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
