Marketing Manager: We are seeking an energetic, motivated and creative team member to drive the development and execution of Avison Young’s marketing strategy in (location). Your primary responsibilities include new business development, brand elevation, and property marketing support.
The ideal candidate is an ‘up and comer’ looking to make that next career jump and has that rare blend of strategic marketing experience and solid design skills and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where strategic and proactive solutions are celebrated and rewarded. Our new marketer should have knowledge of the (location) market landscape and come with Real Estate or AEC marketing experience.
Responsibilities:This position is all about brand, business development, and strong visual identity. Your day to day will include the following initiatives:
- Focus on sales support activities. This includes the development and execution of all marketing materials for new business to include collateral development, lead generation campaigns, pitches, and proposals. End products should reflect Avison Young’s unique differentiators, competitive advantage and surpass stakeholder expectations.
- Perform as the ‘knowledge hub’ for Avison Young’s service lines and subject matter experts ensuring marketing efforts are coordinated, consistent, and relevant to the individual industries, markets and the firm.
- Work in a dynamic team environment and build and execute on multi-channel marketing plans for Avison Young brokers and their clients.
- Provide hands-on design and production support, by creating and/or coordinating all marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Cloud, including brochures, email blasts, websites, advertisement, pitches, proposals, and marketing deliverables.
- As needed, art direct and coordinate the creation of high-technology marketing deliverables, including videos, drones, AR/VR, apps, with third-party vendors.
- Participate in client presentations, pitches and meetings, as a representative of Avison Young’s marketing team, its differentiated capabilities and creative solutions.
- Develop strategy for Avison Young’s digital and web presence in concert with the Region’s strategy, and in alignment with the national digital marketing team. Identify ways to expand Avison Young’s online presence through website, social media and email marketing strategies.
- Build strong relationships across Avison Young’s organization to leverage its extensive marketing and creative resources, research teams, brokerage administrative staff, and business unit leadership across the regional and national platform.
- Can understand how to take a project from concept to execution with minimal guidance
- Can manage stakeholder relationships with minimal intervention from a supervisor
- Establishes processes and continually seeks to improve ways to complete tasks
- Knowledge of technology and digital platforms, with a future-focused mindset to continually learn
- Orchestrates projects by knowing who to collaborate with across the region and firm, can assign tasks to others while maintaining accountability for the final result
- Is the driving force behind the success of marketing campaigns
- Strong project management and process management skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Uses a broad range of marketing tactics and concepts, thinks creatively and devises new approaches to meet business goals
- Interacts closely with key stakeholders
