Role Profile
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager - US to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive business growth and brand awareness across the US region. This role will be instrumental in generating qualified leads, driving sales pipeline, building strong customer relationships, and establishing Lloyd’s List Intelligence as a leader in the industry within the US market.
This is a full-time permanent role working collaboratively across the global business and as part of the key marketing team.
This role is balanced working model between home and in our modern and centrally located New York office with an excellent and a wide variety of services and transport links situated nearby.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans tailored to the US region, considering local market nuances.
- Generate high-quality leads and nurture them through the sales funnel, collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure alignment and maximize conversion rates.
- Manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across events (trade shows, conferences, seminars), digital (email marketing, webinars, SEO/SEM), and content marketing (video content, white papers, case studies, blog posts, podcasts).
- Gather competitive analysis and industry trends to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and refine marketing strategies.
- Develop compelling marketing content that resonates with target audiences and effectively communicates the value proposition of our products/services.
- Manage marketing budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize ROI.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- A key part of the central marketing team based in London, collaborating and working closely across the global business to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives and leverage on the global team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies, particularly within the US region, and identify opportunities for innovation.
What we are looking for:
Essential
- At least 4 years of experience in B2B marketing
- Proven track record of success with branding (social media), Digital/video & product marketing
- Commercial acumen and understating of demand generation and KPI metrics
- Strong understanding of the North American business landscape and cultural nuances.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a fast-paced digital SaaS subscription business and/or at a start-up.
- A degree in any discipline (Business related or marketing degree’s preferable)
- Certified education in the latest Marketing tech and tools
