Questex is seeking a results-driven Lead Generation Manager to drive targeted marketing initiatives that generate high-quality leads for our events and digital properties. In this role, you will play a critical part in fueling sales growth by developing and executing campaigns that engage prospects, nurture leads, and optimize conversion rates.
As a key connector between marketing and sales, you will ensure a seamless handoff of leads, craft compelling messaging that amplifies the value of our Hospitality Group, and monitor lead generation funnels to maximize performance. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Funnel Support:
- Develop and implement lead-generation strategies to drive exhibitor and digital sponsorship interest and inquiries including but not limited to email, video, social, case studies, PPC, advertising, websites, live events, direct mail and more.
- Generate new leads, including marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content.
- Leveraging Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns for a select group of high-value target accounts, via highly personalized campaigns tailored to the specific needs and decision-makers within those target accounts.
- Manage and monitor the lead funnel, ensuring leads are properly pushed to sales and properly tracked to understand what marketing activities and channels are most effective in generating high quality MQLs that ultimately convert to customers, and continually refine campaigns to improve results and tracking.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, including creative agencies, freelance talent, and technology suppliers to amplify the lead-generation funnel and conversions.
- Track competitive events and prospect lists in Salesforce to design and implement targeted retargeting and nurture campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
Communications:
- Create and manage sponsorship-focused emails, including onboarding, promotions, and post-show follow-ups.
- Develop nurture email campaigns to guide exhibitors through their journey, emphasizing event value and sponsorship opportunities.
- Design and execute digital lead generation campaigns that drive exhibitor engagement across multiple events, leveraging insights to cross-promote sponsorships and expand client participation.
- Collaborate with sales to align messaging and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Drive yield increases and greater share of wallet and market share from existing customers by developing and deploying campaigns targeting customers with upgrade potential.
Content Creation:
- Develop and update exhibitor marketing collateral, such as brochures, fact sheets, and sales decks, in partnership with the design team.
- Write compelling copy for emails, landing pages, and promotional materials that drive engagement and conversions.
- Partner with sales to identify and leverage key account successes, collaborating with marketing to cultivate relationships for testimonials, case studies, and client spotlights.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams:
- Act as a liaison between sales and marketing, ensuring both teams have the tools and insights needed to succeed.
- Support sales team initiatives by crafting targeted outreach campaigns and providing real-time marketing updates.
- Participate in strategy sessions to align on exhibitor goals and objectives.
Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and track exhibitor marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Utilize CRM and email marketing tools to manage campaign performance and report on results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, lead generation, or sales support, ideally in the events industry.
- Strong copywriting skills with a knack for crafting compelling, audience-driven content.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as Salesforce, Omeda, Gong, or similar CRM/email tools.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Travel required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $54k to $81k and a revenue incentive plan (RIP). Salary offers are based on a broad scope of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, geographic and organizational factors are also considered.
